Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow can sleep easier at night. Her elder son, Jack Barlow, has safely returned home following his two-year Mormon mission in Columbia.
On June 9, Lisa shared an Instagram Story of she and her husband John Barlow on their way to the airport to pick up their 20-year-old son. Younger son Henry, 13, was also along for the ride.
“Jack is on a flight, on his way home from Colombia right now,” Lisa said in the video. “We are so excited to get him. It’s been the fastest and longest two years, like, all at the same time.”
Jack Barlow has been crowned “Elder Baby Gorgeous”

Another video shows Jack draped in a Colombian flag, holding a fistful of red, yellow and blue balloons. “Look who’s home!” Lisa announced, before inviting everyone to his welcome home party. “Come to our place!”
In a third video, Jack is surrounded by friends holding a sign reading, “Welcome home EBG (Elder Baby Gorgeous).” Lisa famously gave the nickname “Baby Gorgeous” to her younger son Henry in a Season 1 episode of RHOSLC.
In 2023, Lisa and John were stunned when Jack decided to postpone college to complete his two-year Mormon mission. “I [cried] because I [wasn’t] involved in the process,” Lisa told her husband at the time. “I think I’m still dealing with the emotion that I had no idea, and he’s been prepping for a year.
Despite living in a culture that was very different from Utah, Jack seemed to have a ball. His mom reported that he loved everything about Columbia.
But when the Barlows first learned that Jack would be serving in Bogotá during his “mission reveal” party, Lisa was nervous. “I cannot believe he’s going to Colombia,” she said in a show confessional. “He’ll probably be held up at gunpoint at least once or twice on his mission. My friend’s son was just there. He was held up at gunpoint, like, weekly.”
As a mom, I’m sure Lisa’s just glad to have her son home safe. Although he had a brief health scare during his time away, overall it seemed to go smoothly.
