‘RHOSLC’s Lisa Barlow Has a Full Meltdown After She's Seemingly Caught in a Friendship-Ending Lie

This season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is shaping up to be one of the best yet. From the return of Mary Cosby as a snowflake-holder, to newbies Bronwyn Newport and Britani Bateman holding their own in the group and even Angie K. and Meredith Marks finding a way forward, these ladies have proved that anything and everything is possible in the land of SLC. The most riveting dynamic emerging in this season, however, is that of Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow, two of the show's OGs.

While the two started off at odds, they seemed to bond in the third season, deciding to truly leave the past behind them and forge ahead as a duo. Despite getting even closer after the fallout of RealityVonTease in Season 4, this season kicked off with Lisa "Vida Tequila" Barlow coming at Whitney hard after she called Lisa a "villain" during a podcast appearance.

Things only got worse last week when Rose discovered that Lisa may have been behind social media posts claiming Whitney's jewelry company Prism is stealing its designs. Following advice from Meredith, Rose confronted Lisa at Angie K's "mob wives" themed anniversary party on last night's episode, leading to one of the most explosive fights we've seen on the entire series.

The very second Whitney tells Lisa of what she learned, it's game over for the Vida Tequila owner—in classic Lisa Barlow fashion, she immediately raises her voice to unfathomable decibels, yelling in front of the entire party, "It's not me, Whitney! It's not f--king me!" Riveting.

The most interesting part? The more Whitney stays calm, the louder Barlow gets, stomping around the party, threatening to sue Whitney's source and calling her "security guy" to get the Salt Lake City police and LAPD on the case ... sure! "Lisa can yell and scream all she wants," Rose says in her confessional. "That just shows me that she knows I caught her."

What's next is one of the big no-nos in the book of The Real Housewives: getting the husbands involved. After yelling at Whitney, Barlow sets her sights on Justin Rose, asking him, "How do you do this? You have to deal with the lies and sit through the sh-t?" Uh oh.

Justin immediately defends his wife, saying, "She's not a liar ... don't call my wife a liar." Naturally, John Barlow steps in to defend his wife, a well-trod sequence of events that's become all too familiar in the land of The Real Housewives.

The episode ends with the dreaded "to be continued" tag, meaning we must wait 7 long days before seeing how the rest of this fight plays out. Still, one thing is for certain: Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow won't be sitting next to each other on the same reunion couch anytime soon.
