Sai De Silva Questions Brynn Whitfield’s “Intentions” with Jenna Lyons Story: “Furious”

After a back and forth — she said, she said — game of telephone, Sai De Silva and Brynn Whitfield are finally sitting down and getting to the truth of what happened with Jenna Lyons. It all started in the Season 15 premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City when Jenna said Brynn told her that Sai hated her.

“So you’re going to talk to Sai today? Just the two of you?” Ubah Hassan asked Brynn as the Housewives gathered at Erin Lichy’s Sag Harbor home.

“I’m torn, Ubah. Because I’d rather do it sooner,” Brynn replied. “Because I don’t want it to be awkward. Because I don’t want to come back with anger.”

Eventually, in this preview of Episode 3, Ubah and Erin gestured for Sai to come over and talk to Brynn.

Brynn began her conversation with Sai with an immediate apology.

“I just want us to be friends and I just want this to go through very quickly,” Brynn said. “I don’t want you to feel upset at me for any way that I have hurt you. I just want to say all the ways that I have hurt you, and truly to God, I think you’ve expressed them to me, I’m really sorry. I don’t want to hurt you.”

Sai didn’t accept the apology right away.

"I really appreciate your apology but I feel like you’ve never even heard my side,” she replied to Brynn. “So again, we’re kind of brushing my feelings underneath the rug. You’ve never even heard me talk to you. I was furious at your party. I really appreciate that you invited me there. But Jenna told me that you told her that I hate her. And I’m like, ‘What were your intentions?’”

The comment first came up when Jenna hosted a girls night ahead of Season 15.

“Did you hear the part where Jenna came up to me and was like, ‘I don’t understand why you keep telling people you hate me,’” Sai told Jessel Taank in the season premiere.”

Sai insisted it never happened, telling Jessel, “I never used the word ‘hate’” and adding, “I was like, ‘Jenna, I never said that. That’s my honest truth. And so be it.’”

“Listen child, when I’m angry, I will talk sh—t about everybody, OK?” Sai said in her confessional. “I don’t really recall Jenna ever making me angry. Was she my favorite person last year? No. But we are past that stage.”
