The New Orleans Saints will have a busy week ahead of them. If they make the expected move and hire Kellen Moore as their new head coach, he will need to assemble his staff. 

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator will surely have to see himself and his staff to his new players, and one of them has already made a public request for him. 

Alontae Taylor sends message to Kellen Moore

The Saints' cornerback made a request of the expected next head coach in New Orleans. He wants the best defensive coordinator that Moore can find in the team's pursuit of a Super Bowl title. 

"Whoever you hire as defensive coordinator, he gotta come crazy, we tryna play all that... We ain't playing none of that soft stuff... Kellen Moore, we need the best DC you can find... we tryna go to the ship." -- Alontae Taylor

Taylor acknowledged the plenty of folks would screen record his comments for their social media. That certainly happened, as it was shared across different platforms. 

He remains hopeful, though. That is clear. Considering his confidence that Moore will be the team's next head coach, it seems pretty obvious that the players are expecting Moore to be the hire - just like everyone else around the NFL.
