New Orleans adds more coaches to Kellen Moore's staff, per reports.
The New Orleans Saints announced three more additions to their offensive coaching staff on Wednesday. Two of them were actually holdovers from the previous regime.
Mike Triplett of neworleans.football reported that Jordan Traylor is being brought back to the Saints offensive staff under Kellen Moore. Traylor has been with New Orleans the last five seasons, first with the scouting department and the last three as an offensive assistant.
At the Senior Bowl earlier this month, Traylor served as a quarterback coach. Prior to joining the Saints in 2019, Traylor was an offensive assistant that worked with quarterbacks at the University of Arkansas.
Another coach returning to the Saints is offensive line assistant Jahri Evans. This was first reported by Nick Underhill of neworleans.football. He's been on the New Orleans staff since 2022, first as an intern and the previous two years as an offensive line assistant.
Evans, 41, is also one of the best offensive linemen in franchise history. A six-time All-Pro and voted onto the NFL's 2010s All-Decade Team, Evans played 11 seasons at right guard after being a fourth-round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. In each of the last two years, Evans was a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The newest addition to the coaching staff is Tobijah Hughley, hired as an offensive assistant according to Nick Underhill.
Hughley, 31, was a collegiate offensive lineman at Louisville from 2014 to 2016. He had been an assistant for the Houston Texans through the conclusion of the 2022 season.
