Oddly enough, the Saints have no games on Thursday Night Football. Even with no primetime games at all, that's a nice, little advantage compared to many other teams around the league.

Biggest Games on the Saints' 2025 Schedule

Saints vs. Cardinals: This choice may be cliche, but it is the truth. New Orleans needs to start the Kellen Moore era off strong. Week 1 is their chance to do the against a beatable Cards team.

Saints at Falcons: This will wrap up the season for both teams. The rivalry matchup never lacks passion, and one of the two teams will most likely be vying for a Wild Card spot if all goes well for them.

Saints at Bears: New Orleans will get a chance to prove they can beat one of the best up and coming, young squads of the NFC. Not to mention, Dennis Allen is the defensive coordinator for the Bills now.

Primetime matchups with viewing/streaming info

The Saints have a total of zero primetime games in 2025. They are the only NFC South team with none this season as of now.

Strength of Schedule (based off Vegas win totals, not 2024 record)

Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis does this cool thing every year where he ranks teams' strength of schedule based off Vegas' projected win totals for the upcoming season. He doesn't base it off the standard last-year's-record model and it makes a lot more sense, because of all the change teams go through during the offseason.

According to his data, the Saints have the third-easiest schedule in the NFL.

Revenge Games on the Saints' 2025 schedule

  • Saints at Bears: The Saints will want to beat their former head coach in Dennis Allen, plain and simple. Not to mention, Kellen Moore may have some tricks up his sleeve for this matchup, too.
  • Either Bucs matchup: New Orleans could not contend with Tampa Bay a season ago. They'll want to avoid embarrassing themselves against the division foe once again.
