The New Orleans Saints are bringing back a familiar face that fans learned about during the preseason.
Saints re-sign young running back
New Orleans is bringing back Jacob Kibodi to their practice squad, according to John Hendrix. He was a preseason standout for the team's offense this year, and fans took notice.
The Saints cut ties with Kibodi at the start of October when Kendre Miller neared his return from injury. Now, Miller is back on the shelf with a new hamstring injury, so Kibodi returns to the mix.
Kibodi grew up a Saints fan. He finished his college career at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
My time at UL was amazing, looking back at everything that I overcame I'm able to see how God was using that situation to make me better. It was a humbling experience going from a guy who had 20+ offers out of high school to then taking out loans to pay my way through school. Walking on is definitely one of the hardest challenges I've faced. Anybody who walks on I have the upmost respect for because I know the struggle, there was plenty of nights I felt like my stomach was surviving off nothing but ramen noodles and to come out on the other side and earn a scholarship is definitely a blessing... Gettin' the call from the Saints was a dream come true! This is my favorite team. Reggie Bush is my favorite running back and being from Baton Rouge man, I was able to go to a couple games as a kid and that's still one of my favorite childhood memories.

We will see if Kibodi becomes a piece to the offense in the near future. The lack of production for veteran RB Jamaal Williams may open the door to a role for Kibodi on the active roster.
