The New Orleans Saints are expecting an update on Taysom Hill soon after he suffered a knee injury in the team's Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He was carted off the field in the fourth quarter and did not return.
Latest on Taysom Hill
The Saints may be without Hill for the rest of the season. He is feared to have suffered a season-ending knee injury, according to Ian Rapoport.
As he notes in the post above, Hill will have an MRI on Monday.
That will probably tell the team and Hill exactly what to expect when it comes to a recovery. Regardless, it does not seem like it will be good news for one of the most beloved players in New Orleans.
Add Hill to the long list of players that have suffered serious injuries for the Saints this season.
Rashid Shaheed and Paulson Adebo are both out for the season. Chris Olave has missed time due to multiple concussions. Derek Carr and Erik McCoy have both missed chunks of time due to injury this season as well. Alvin Kamara has played through rib and hand injuries, too.
All in all, the Saints imply cannot avoid the injury bug this year. It's continually bit them week in and week out.
For Hill, this is one of multiple injuries he's dealt with this season, too, including a punctured lung and broken ribs.
