Saints' Spencer Rattler chooses a side in massive college football blowout that shook up the SEC

New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler has had a tough start to his pro career, but he is used to a rollercoaster of experience in football. He was a starter at multiple colleges after being one of the most highly-sought after high school prospects in his class.

Ultimately, Rattler ended up at South Carolina. He lead the Gamecocks to a massive win over the Tennessee in his senior year and rejuvenated some draft hype as he headed to the pros with some strong performances throughout the season.

Now, he is thew starter for the New Orleans Saints while Derek Carr misses time with an oblique injury. Carr has a chance to return in Week 8, but Rattler has started two games in a row for the black and gold.

His physical traits are quite impressive. Rattler's love for the South Carolina program has not died, either. He made sure to show his support for his final stop in college on social media on Saturday after their massive win over the Oklahoma Sooners.

Rattler supports Gamecocks over Sooners

Oklahoma is brand new to SEC football. Their latest lost to SC was yet another punch in the mouth during a frustrating first season for the Sooners.

Rattler was beat out by Caleb Williams during his time at OU.

The star quarterback and future first overall selection was simply too talented to sit behind Rattler in the college ranks. The Sooners chose to roll with Williams before he decided to head to the university of Southern California alongside Lincoln Riley.

Regardless, we learned who has the most love from Rattler in terms of his college teams this weekend.
