Bachelor Nation fans got to know Sam Jeffries on Season 26 of “The Bachelor” and Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Sam has been keeping fans updated with her life on social media, including her life in San Diego.
Over the past year, she started dating someone and while she didn’t hard-launch their relationship, she teased bits and pieces.
Now, Sam took to her Instagram Stories to reveal they broke up and she’s leaving her beloved city behind.
Alongside a photo of her car packed up, she wrote, “Car’s packed. I’m moving back to Ohio tomorrow,” with the tears in eyes emoji.
Sam continued, saying, “I moved to SD in October last year and immediately felt led to go back... but I started dating someone and pushed that feeling aside. I kept telling him, ‘I’m only here because of you.’”
She added that, “After we broke up, I still felt the pull to leave, but I didn’t want to run. So I waited + prayed. Other doors opened and took that as a sign to stay. Now I’m finally listening to the nudge, aka the Holy Spirit. With no plan, just trust. I'm sad, but finally choosing obedience over comfort.”
She shared that she knows the best is still yet to come and she’s holding out hope for what the future has in store for her.
Sam shared that her mom is flying to San Diego to make the 30-hour drive back to Ohio with her and that she feels super loved by family and friends during this time.
