Summer House alum, Samantha Feher, opened up about her life now amid her sober journey.
Summer House alum Samantha "Sam" Feher recently shared that she celebrated a major milestone in her life, confirming that she is 9 months sober. Sam is focusing on her mental and physical health by cutting out alcohol and sharing new details about the journey.
The CAPS LOCK podcast host took to Instagram in April 2025, where she posted a video taken from the last time she drank alcohol. In the video, Sam can be seen partying with friends while holding onto a bottle of wine, pouring some of it into her mouth, and pouring some of it into other people's mouths. "She doesn't know it yet, but this will be the last time she ever drinks alcohol (she should've known it lol)," she wrote over the video.
Sam then took to the caption of the post, where she shared a major update on how she's been since cutting alcohol out of her life. "She had no idea that 9 months later she'd be the healthiest, happiest version of herself she'd ever met," she wrote.
Bravolebrities took to the comments to share their support for the podcast host. "Love you! Congrats babe," Lindsay Hubbard wrote.
"Congrats," Southern Hospitality's Maddi Reese, who is also sober, added, along with red heart and clapping hands emojis.
Why Sam Feher decided to give up alcohol for good
Sam took to her podcast in December 2024, where she opened up about what led her to permanently giving up alcohol. Every now and then, Sam would experiment with not drinking, but, "FOMO would get the best" of her, leading her to drink again. While partying with her friends one night, Sam experienced a panic attack, which left her with very high anxiety.
She visited her therapist afterward, who implored her to think about her "broader relationship with alcohol" which made her think about giving it up for good.
"So, at first, my current sober journey was coming from a place of anxiety and embarrassment I felt after leaving that nightclub," she said. "But as I've continued to work on myself, my 'why' has completely transformed into a place of absolute love for the life I live and the person I'm becoming."
