Sсһeаnа Sһаy Sһаres Wһo Sһould Return for Vаnderрumр Rules Seаson 12 аs Sһe Admіts ‘Sһow Cаn’t Contіnue Wіtһ Everyone,’ Plus Wһy Sһe Went on “Rаnt” About Tom’s Lаwsuіt

Scheana Shay is opening up about her decision to go on a “rant” against Tom Sandoval following his filing of a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, which he’s since claimed to have withdrawn. Plus she addresses who she wants to see return to Vanderpump Rules next season.

While attending Sutton Stracke‘s Green Label fashion show in Los Angeles, where she also spoke of season 12 and raising her three-year-old daughter, Summer Moon, with the children of Lala Kent, 33, and Stassi Schroeder, 35, Scheana, 39, said that when it came to speaking out on her Instagram Story, she felt it was important for her to take a stand.

“I kept getting all these messages and I’m like, ‘What the f*ck is he thinking?’ I have to say something because if I don’t say something, I seem either complicit or like I agree with this behavior,” Scheana explained to Us Weekly on July 22. “But if I do say something, it’s like I’m trying to make it about myself.”

Although she has been criticized in the past for making things about her, Scheana said she felt she needed to “have a rant” about Sandoval’s filing.

“Honestly, I don’t f*cking care because I don’t support this,” she said. “So I’m going to say something and people can say whatever they want. They can say I’m backpedaling, they can say that I’m trying to make this about me, but I just don’t support that behavior, and if people want to say it’s too little, too late, whatever. At least I’m saying something because something needed to be said.”

According to Scheana, who’s known Sandoval for “15 years,” he is a “different person” now.

As Pump Rules fans will recall, Sandoval claimed Ariana didn’t have permission to be on his phone when she allegedly found videos of his former mistress, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29, made copies, and allegedly sent them to third parties, in his legal filing against her.

“This is not someone I want to be friends with. This is not who I align in my values with,” Scheana said on her Instagram Story shortly thereafter. “Call me a f*cking idiot, OK? I said it at the finale, you know, ‘Don’t make me look like an idiot.’ Well, you did. So many thoughts.”

After receiving backlash, Sandoval released a statement, confirming he was not suing Ariana and stating that he fired his attorney, Matt Geragos, who he claimed misled him into the filing.

During another interview at Sutton’s event, Scheana spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the future of Pump Rules.

“I hope we can move forward still doing this show but I just don’t see how we can continue with everyone,” she admitted. “The girls need to come back. We need some girl power.”

While Ariana has yet to confirm her return to the show, she’s been keeping busy with other products, including her role as host of Love Island USA.

“I tuned in to [see] all of her outfits. She looked fire. I mean, absolutely incredible,” Scheana said of Ariana.

As for what she’s been doing this summer amid the filming pause, Scheana said that “mom life” is keeping her busy.

As fans may have seen, Scheana recently attended Lala’s baby shower, where Summer reunited with Lala’s daughter, Ocean, and Stassi’s daughter, Hartford, both of whom are also three years old.

“It is so adorable. I mean, literally they are us,” Scheana said of the toddlers. “Their personalities, the way they look, it’s so fun to see but also when the girls get into an argument or ‘she took my toy’ sort of thing, we’re like, ‘We’re just gonna let them figure this out. We’ll be here to watch.’”

“But I love seeing them grow up together,” she added.

Vanderpump Rules season 12 is expected to begin filming sometime later this year.
