Scheana Shay is lashing out at her ex-boss, Lisa Vanderpump, claiming the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star used her to build an empire and “gaslit” her for years.

Speaking out in a new, tell-all interview, titled “How My Marriage Survived Cheating,” the 40-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum looked back on her sordid affair with Eddie Cibrian, 52, who was married to Brandi Glanville, 52, at the time. She also shared if she’s run into him and his new wife, LeAnn Rimes, 42, in Los Angeles, and she revealed that her relationship with Lisa, 64, changed after she failed to go along with her “script” for Pump Rules amid season six.

“[Lisa] low-key used my real-life pain to launch her TV empire — and what an empire she has,” Scheana began in her July 15 interview with Us Weekly.

According to Scheana, Lisa only pretended not to know about her affair with Eddie when she welcomed her to an event she knew Brandi would be attending amid season four of RHOBH in 2013.

“She gaslit me about it for a decade instead of just coming to me in the beginning. That’s the thing with Lisa: She doesn’t make mistakes. She makes moves and then calls them coincidences,” Scheana explained.

While Scheana and Lisa were once close, their friendship became strained in 2017 after Lisa instructed her to defend James Kennedy, 33, after he body-shamed Katie Maloney, 38.

“I got a phone call from Lisa. She didn’t want to fire James, so she needed someone to stand up for him [at a staff meeting]. If you go back and watch, I’m getting a death stare from Lisa, like, ‘When are you going to speak up? When are you going to stick to the script?’ That’s when I stopped following her orders, and I feel like the relationship changed after that,” she shared.

Because she first gained fame as Eddie’s mistress in 2006, and due to the way their affair served as a launching point for Pump Rules in 2013, Scheana has struggled to shed the “home-wrecker” label she’s long received.

“I have worn this scarlet letter for so long. I’m this ‘home-wrecking wh*re’ every day in the comments. [But] he’s the one who lied. He is the one who cheated. He is the home-wrecker,” she declared. “I don’t want to say I was innocent, but … I was lied to by a 33-year-old man when I was 21, fresh out of college. I feel like people tend to forget that.”

Although Scheana admitted there were “red flags” with Eddie, and acknowledged that she “[led] with [her] heart and not [her] brain,” she insisted that a lot that’s been said about her over the years has been “hurtful” and “not true.”

“I am extremely loyal. I am a girl’s girl. People don’t necessarily see that side of me because the girls I was on the show with weren’t … the girls I would necessarily be loyal to and be a girl’s girl around because they didn’t always treat me in a way that deserved that,” she reasoned.

As for her regrets, Scheana said there were “many,” and she then signaled to her public interview about her affair.

“I wasn’t thinking about his wife and toddlers at home,” she admitted. “People like to say that I make everything about me — this was an instance where I was only thinking about myself in that situation and that was not OK. It was extremely immature and extremely irresponsible. I am so sorry to Brandi for her having to find out about me the way she did. She didn’t deserve that.”

“And lo and behold, look what my husband did to me,” Scheana added, giving a nod to her recent revelation about Brock Davies, 35, cheating on her while she was pregnant.

Also during the interview, Scheana denied ever crossing paths with Eddie and LeAnn.

“No, never! LeAnn and I have talked on social media. Brandi and I stay in touch. But Eddie, I have had zero contact and zero run-ins with in 17 years,” she confirmed.
