Season 16 in Limbo? RHONY Star Makes Bold Move That Could Change Everything!

Brynn Whitfield is moving forward as her future on  “Real Housewives of New York City” remains in limbo.

It's Time for Brynn To Take a Pause From 'RHONY'

In March 2025, the Bravo TV personality announced she was launching her own podcast, titled “Please See Below With Brynn Whitfield.” The podcast will be produced by Spotify’s The Ringer and will feature Whitfield’s conversations with  “famous friends” about love, money, sex, relationships and “everything in between,” according to Variety.

In a statement, Whitfield told the outlet, “I’m excited to connect with some of my favorite people every week (including my Bravo fam!), and the most fascinating minds on topics we all want to know more about. I will be joined by some of my closest friends, reality stars, experts, entrepreneurs — and maybe even an ex or two — to talk dating, love, sex, finance and more. “

Whitfield described her new show as a “cozy, funny, sexy, silly, dumb (yet deep), all-engrossing cuddle-puddle chat with your BFF. “

“Get ready — we’re diving deep. I can’t wait to see you there!” she teased.

Brynn Whitfield Has Been Waiting ‘So Long’ to Have Her Own Podcast

Whitfield also shared the news on her Instagram page. She captioned a teaser for Episode 1, which drops March 19, with, “What I’ve wanted for SO LONG 🧡🧡🧡🧡 First episode with @jason_tartick drops on Wednesday 3.19 😝.”

Loyal fans reacted to assure Whitfield that they would be tuning into her new podcast.

“👏👏👏👏 we will be listening,” one fan wrote.

“ICON!!!!! This is soooo major!!!!!!! Take over @brynn_whitfield you [expletive] deserve it!!!!!!!!! Keep soaring gorgeous! Love you! All the hard work is paying off!!!” another wrote.

“can’t wait to listen! 🫶🏻 also, the name absolutely slays 🔥,” added another.

“I’ve never subbed so fast to anything! Can’t wait babe ❤️,” a fourth fan chimed in.

The Cast RHONY Season 16 Has Not Been Announced

Whitfield’s podcast news comes as her role on RHONY remains uncertain. In the season 15 finale, Whitfield was at the center of a dark fight with co-star Ubah Hassan during a cast trip to Puerto Rico. There has been some speculation that she won’t be asked back for season 16.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Whitfield noted that no cast member is ever “guaranteed” a return to the show. “Even franchises that have been around for 17 years, it’s the same song and dance,” she said. “You never know until a month before you pick back up filming. You don’t know if you’re renewed, you don’t know who comes back, or any of these things.”

In January, a casting announcement was posted on Shed Media’s Instagram page teasing the search for potential newcomers for RHONY next season.

According to a source for Us Weekly, producers for the long-running Bravo reality show are looking for “potential new ladies” to join the show before they decide which cast members will return next season.
