“Dancing with the Stars” will return for Season 34 on September 16. As fans eagerly await the new season, there are already some reasons to get excited: Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, and two “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” stars, Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck, have been confirmed. But can any of these stars dance, or are they all learning from the very beginning?
Wildlife conservationist Irwin is not a trained dancer but influencer Earle did competitive dance in high school. It’s not clear if Affleck has any experience but Leavitt has a lifetime of it, and she’s already preparing to compete!
Whitney Leavitt Starts Practising for DWTS Season 34
During the Season 2 reunion for “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Leavitt’s co-star Frankie Taylor Paul commented on her dancing skills. “You’ve danced your whole life,” Paul said, Cosmopolitan reports.
But how good is she? Well, fans can decide that for themselves, as Leavitt has been posting videos on Instagram recently, showcasing her moves. In an Instagram post on July 18, Leavitt shared a video of herself practicing her lifts ahead of her time on DWTS. “Should I show the take where I accidentally punched Conner in the face sorry boo,” she captioned the post, noting how her husband Conner Leavitt was helping her.
Fans are impressed with Leavitt’s skills and have flooded the comment section with messages about Conner also needing to join DWTS. “Honestly the way he keeps a smile on during a difficult lift makes me think he needs to be on the next DWTS season,” a comment reads. “Can Connor be your honorary show partner?,” another shared.
Whitney Leavitt Is Relocating for DWTS
On July 23, Leavitt posted another video on Instagram. This time, she informed fans that she and her husband would be relocating to Los Angeles for “Dancing with the Stars.” To mark this occasion, they performed a happy and energetic dance routine. “LA HERE WE COME!!!!! @dancingwiththestars,” she wrote in the caption.
Fans reacted to the post with praise and it’s clear there are many people rooting for the reality TV star to win the Mirrorball Trophy. “Ahhh so many new changes!! How exciting, congrats!!” a fan wrote. “Yaaasss! I freaking can’t wait to watch you!!!! “ another shared.
