The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member showed how much Pilar, who she co-parents with her ex Dennis McKinley, is growing up.
Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley's daughter Pilar Jhena "PJ" McKinley is officially in kindergarten!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member took to Instagram earlier this week, where she posted the sweetest photos of her daughter ahead of her first day of school. And PJ looks so excited to start this new chapter in her life.
In the photos, PJ can be seen standing in front of a colorful background, smiling, wearing a multi-colored pastel dress and Minnie Mouse ears, while holding a bouquet of flowers. Porsha and Dennis kissed PJ on her cheeks and stood beside her before snapping pictures of PJ in the car on the way to school and standing alongside her grandmothers.
PJ, according to her first day of school sign, loves coloring, eating pizza, and reading the book, All Star Kid. When she grows up, she wants to be a police officer. Watch out kindergarten; here comes PJ.
Porsha took to the caption of the post, where she expressed her excitement. "This is going to be the best year yet!" she wrote. "Mommy and Daddy are so proud of our lil' princess and the G'mas too!"
Porsha Williams' Update on Co-parenting with Ex, Dennis McKinley
As if these photos weren't enough proof that Porsha and her ex-fiancé are doing well, take her word for it. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen's 15th-anniversary special on June 30, Porsha noted that everything and everyone is good, even amidst her divorce from her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia.
"Life is good, my daughter is amazing," she told host, Andy Cohen, at the time, noting that her daughter is handling the separation well. "She's doing really good with the transition."
"Her father is being really supportive, Dennis, you know, so," Porsha continued. "My mom is there."
Although Porsha is "not dating at all" she noted on the episode, she is focused on her daughter and very appreciative for her co-parenting relationship with Dennis. In June, on Father's Day, Porsha took to Instagram, where she wrote the sweetest message of appreciation for him.
"I could not have chosen a more loving and supportive daddy than you," Porsha wrote in the now-deleted Instagram post. "Watching you all together brings my inner child so much joy knowing how close you all will continue to be as she grows into a young lady. I know you all will have a wonderful day together!! Gifts are on the way. Love ya, Co-parent."
