See Who Andy FaceTimed and More of What Cameras Didn’t Show at RHOSLC Season 5 Reunion

Much like Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City itself, the reunion was truly one for the books — and that's not even taking into account everything that happened behind the scenes.

Lucky for fans, The Daily Dish was on set the day of the taping and can now reveal all of the juicy off-camera details courtesy of Angie Katsanevas, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Bronwyn Newport, Mary Cosby, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Britani Bateman, as well as reunion host Andy Cohen.

Off-camera moments from the RHOSLC Season 5 reunion

Arrivals and pre-filming conversations

Stand-ins for both the ladies and Andy were actually the first to take the reunion stage, but after some routine test shots, they departed and the crew got to work finalizing the set (which was modeled after Lisa's infamous Besos party).

A short time later, Andy arrived and took his seat in between the two couches (while singing the opening lines to "Defying Gravity" from Wicked, no less). From there, the RHOSLC ladies came to set in the following order: Lisa, Heather, Whitney, Bronwyn, Mary, Angie, and Meredith. The latter, as Andy pointed out during Part 1 of the reunion, was actually a couple of minutes late — however, as Heather put it, she was "worth the wait."

Other off-camera snippets? Andy greeting Lisa by saying "hey baby G," Bronwyn helping Mary get a smidge of lipstick off her teeth, and Whitney telling Angie she looked like "the bell of the ball."

Touch-ups and a lunch break

Aside from the occasional pause for touch-ups or bathroom breaks, filming continued for the next few hours. When it came time for lunch, Lisa declared that she "needed a Diet Coke." Elsewhere, some of the cast posed for both solo and group shots.

When it came time to resume filming post-lunch, the husbands joined the group.

Andy Cohen's emotional reunion "first"

Viewers saw Mary open up about her son Robert Cosby Jr.'s journey during the reunion, as well as the emotional impact that the conversation had not just on Mary, but also on her castmates and Andy. What they didn't see, however, is Andy later telling Mary that he had never cried at a reunion before — until now. Suffice to say, it was a tender moment.

Britani's arrival

Britani joined the Salt Lake City ladies during Part 3 of the reunion, but before she took the stage, she paid a visit to the set and even filmed a few behind-the-scenes videos. While walking around, she also jokingly referenced her now-infamous quote from Mary's Breakfast at Tiffany's brunch: "What about me?!"

Andy's FaceTime

During a break later on in the day, Andy FaceTimed his son, Ben. Lisa jumped in to say hi at one point, while elsewhere, Angie filmed a video of her and all the ladies.

Filming concludes

The group ended the reunion taping by toasting with Miller High Life (a nod to their brewery visit during the Milwaukee trip). Then, Andy shared a congratulatory message: "You guys did a great job."
