Shamea Morton believes Angela Oakley is “afraid” of Porsha Williams.
After watching Angela, 44, quickly forgive Porsha, 43, for saying she should sleep with her husband, Charles Oakley, 61, while holding a grudge against her for laughing, the 43-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star spoke of Angela and Porsha’s dynamic while looking back at her falling out with Porsha, offering an update on her surrogacy journey, and shading Brittany “Brit” Eady, 37.
“These are things that I do feel. However, I’ve never voiced them to Angela. These are Angela’s words and that’s the disappointing thing,” Shamea shared in a May 11 interview with Decider after being asked about Angela telling Porsha that she felt their friendship was “lopsided.”
“Angela is afraid of Porsha for whatever reason … [And] she’s taking it back to Porsha as if this is how I feel,” Shamea continued.
According to Shamea, Angela had been prying about her friendship with Porsha, questioning her about Porsha’s absence at her wedding, and seemingly instigating the tension between them even though they’d “moved past it.”
Although she admitted to feeling that her relationship with Porsha was lopsided “at times,” she noted that they are “good” as she denied telling Angela about the intricacies between them.
“I’m like, ‘Girl, I would never. I don’t even know you. I’m just getting to know you, why would I wanna come and confide in you about my best friend?'” she asked.
While Shamea didn’t appreciate the way in which the cast picked their friendship apart, she also didn’t like that Porsha didn’t take a stand against it.
“If they’ve come to me, I’ve shut it down. I’m like, ‘Yeah, this happened, but we’re good.’ The fact that she opens up and she’s like, ‘Yeah,’ and crying about it with them, it is unfortunate because she never gave me the grace to call me and say, ‘Hey, this is what they’re saying. Is it true?'” she stated. “Give me the grace that I’ve extended to you and let’s talk about it if we’re real friends and if you want the friendship.”
“I think that’s the thing that [was] the most hurtful part about it all because after 20 years of friendship, I still didn’t get that grace,” she added.
Moving on to her plans to one day give her husband, Gerald Mwangi, a son, Shamea said the process is ongoing.
“I still do hope that I could be a boy mom and give my husband a junior or a son. It has not happened yet. Unfortunately, the surrogate that we just introduced on the show did not work out. But we do have a new surrogate, so I don’t know, maybe season 17, you’ll get to know the new one, and there’ll be a baby on the way. But as of right now, just send some prayers our way. Hopefully, we’ll get a boy soon.
Meanwhile, on the May 15 episode of The Breakfast Club, via Mr. Housewife on Instagram, Shamea took aim at Brit, saying that the only two newbies she cares about are Angela and Kelli Ferrell, 40, and suspecting Brit wouldn’t be back for season 17.
“I don’t see it for her. She’s just not a kind person. But that’s how girl groups are. You’re not gonna get along with everybody, and she’s just not my type of girl. She said herself she’s not a girls’ girl, and we can see it,” Shamea declared.

She then signaled inconsistencies with Brit’s claim about her insurance license.
“When you ain’t being real, it will come out, and everything will be revealed, and that’s exactly what’s happening,” she teased. “You can’t keep up with your own stories. You say you lost your insurance, then you didn’t lose your insurance license. It’s like, girl, come on.”Live Viewing Thread – This is also the live viewing thread for tonight’s new episode of RHOA season 16!
