The drama continues for David Beador, years after we watched his marriage to Shannon Beador collapse on The Real Housewives of Orange County. In new court documents, he requested a restraining order against his current wife, Lesley Beador.
The two have had a contentious relationship for years, filing for divorce on a semi-annual basis. Now, David claims that things have become abusive, and he’s trying to kick her out of their California home for the rest of the summer.
David Beador accuses wife Lesley of abuse, and has filed for a restraining order

In court documents reviewed by People, David filed a petition for protection against Lesley on Tuesday, June 17. It asked Lesley to stay 100 yards away from her. However, the two share one daughter, 4-year-old Anna Love, so custody exchanges would be the only exception to the order.
With that said, the order also instructed Lesley to vacate their home in Newport Beach, California. She, Anna, and two kids from a previous marriage relocated to a separate home in Montana.
Previously, David accused Lesley of extortion. In his request for a restraining order, he continued leveling those claims while also illustrating the increasingly toxic nature of their relationship. He detailed several instances of abuse throughout June 2025.
On June 10, they allegedly had to cancel a family trip to New York at the last minute due to Lesley starting a fight. The next day, he alleged that Lesley physically attacked him, “gouging large chunks of skin” out of his arm.
David claimed, “It should be further noted that during the altercation, Lesley actually shoved her fingers into my mouth attempting to silence me and later developed a self-serving narrative that I unilaterally bit her fingers!”
After the difficult month, David said he feared for his safety and the safety of their daughter. He described Lesley as a “pathological liar” trying to manipulate the system to get what she wants.
“Rather than letting me speak with Anna, she threatened that she was going to get her own three (3) year restraining order against me,” David’s filing continued. “This has been her pattern in the past.”
There’s a hearing scheduled for July 8. There, a court will determine if David’s restraining order will become permanent. In the meantime, Lesley and the three kids are to remain in Montana.
