Although we’re a month into spring, the pesky flu season is still in full swing.
We were reminded of this on Thursday, April 24, when Shannon Storms Beador shared a quick update on her health. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member posted an Instagram Story of her recent appointment with Hydration Room, a West Coast-based wellness center that offers IV therapy.

Shannon confirmed she had come down with a virus that took a heavy toll on her body, so she called on the clinic for some assistance.
“[The Hydration Room] helping me get over the nastiest Influenza B,” she captioned a photo of an IV tube in her hand. “Thank you Christina for finding a vein in my dehydrated body.”
According to its website, the wellness center offers a wide range of IV and injection therapies that aim to alleviate skin issues, stress, hangovers, abnormal discomfort, muscle soreness, and more. It’s unclear what IV treatment Shannon received, but it’s safe to assume it was the Cold and Flu IV Therapy, which is said to “decrease viral symptoms and fatigue, combat dehydration and support the immune system.”

Shannon Storms Beador heads to Bravo's Love Hotel

Shannon shared the health update amid an exciting career and love-life chapter. The mother of three will appear in the inaugural season of Bravo’s Love Hotel, a reality dating series in which she and other single Housewives attempt to find “their happily ever after.” Shannon spoke about the experience in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, explaining why she decided to re-enter the dating scene at this time in her life.
“After my breakup in my relationship, I was single for a year,” she said. “I just focused on myself, and I didn’t go on one date. I feel as though I did a lot of good work on myself, and I thought, ‘OK, it’s time.’”
But what did Shannon’s daughters, Sophie, Adeline, and Stella Beador, think of her return to the dating pool?
“They were horrified,” she said, referring to her gig on Bravo’s Love Hotel. “I do joke all the time that it’s my job to embarrass them. So, they just didn’t know what I would do… You might see a kid or two [on the show].”
Bravo’s Love Hotel will also feature The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby and The Real Housewives of New York City’s Luann de Lesseps. The series was filmed at the Grand Velas hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico, and was hosted by Love Concierge Joel Kim Booster. Find out what to expect from the new dating show.
