Though both Taylor Ann Green and Shep Rose have moved on from their relationship, their time together still seeps into their lives today. In the Southern Charm After Show video above, Shep opened up about how he still feels a deep connection to Taylor due to their past.
In the clip, the Southern Charm cast began by talking about Shep's relationship with Sienna Evans and the drama that went down during their trip to the Bahamas. Ultimately, Shep realized that Taylor helped him work through the heartache, and her understanding of him is something he missed from their time together.
"Taylor knows me very well," he explained. "That's what lost in a lot of this stuff."
And no, there wasn't a "moment" between them in the Bahamas, but he did feel connected to Taylor as she gave him advice about Sienna.
"It was just like commiseration," he said. "She felt for me. [We were dating] two and a half years. Taylor and I know each other very well, we know each other's family very well. We've been here, there, and everywhere. We've had intimate moments out the wazoo."
"I mean, she would like to minimize it, that's fine, just to placate her boyfriend, or I don't know why she's doing what she's doing, but the the simple truth is you can't replace that and you can't manufacture that," he continued. "It was real. It was organic. It was it was quite lovely. So, I choose to look at those things and celebrate them — not celebrate, but honor them. I wish she felt the same way. Maybe one day she will, but she was very understanding, and I appreciated her in that moment."
What did Taylor Ann Green say to Shep Rose about Sienna in the Bahamas?
After a snorkeling excursion that Sienna chose to opt out of, Shep was visibly disappointed.
"Taylor was there that day, and and she was actually very graceful to him," explained Ryan Albert during the After Show. "She said, 'I hate to see this happen to you.'"
Taylor reflected on the moment, explaining, "I was like...'You're putting her into this pot.' I was like, 'Let the plant grow into a bigger pot....You're limiting this girl to only this pot, and... she is much bigger than that.'"
And though Taylor said she found it hard to take the situation "seriously" because she doesn't have the best feelings about Shep following their breakup, she did try her best to help him.
