Southern Charm star Shep Rose is speaking out after Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor called him out on his bad wedding guest behavior. Does he regret his actions?
While on Watch What Happens Live last Tuesday, Jax and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, put Shep on blast after revealing that the 40-year-old was far from the ideal wedding guest. According to the bartender, Shep was thoughtlessly taking pictures and filming the event and was “the worst wedding guest ever.”
But according to Shep, he didn’t know he wasn’t supposed to post anything to social media and has nothing but love for the couple.
“I love @mrjaxtaylor and @BNCartwright and i think/hope the feeling is mutual.” Shep wrote on Twitter on January 8.
He continued, “They could have been more communicative about what their guest’s social media restrictions were. But it was such a fun wedding. I was honored to be there. Maybe in the year 2050 they can come to mine.”
And just this weekend, Shep attended a wedding and appeared to poke a bit of fun at Jax’s comments when he shared a photo of the wedding party while calling it a “risky” move.
“I know this is super risky. But these are my friends who are getting married. ???? and I’m happy for them,” tweeted Shep alongside the photo.
This isn’t the first time Shep’s behavior has come into question. Just last August, the Southern Charm star made headlines after posting a video of himself teasing a woman who appeared to be homeless on Twitter. Following the backlash of the clip that went viral, Shep temporarily deleted his Twitter account before eventually apologizing for his behavior, referring to himself as “the architect of my own demise” in an interview with PEOPLE.
