Shep Rose Reveals What Caused Him & His Ex-Girlfriend Sienna Evans to Take a "Little Break"
Southern Charm star Shep Rose is finally opening up about the real reason he and ex-girlfriend Sienna Evans hit pause on their relationship — and it all came down to clashing expectations.
The couple, who first met on a dating app, seemed to be off to a romantic start, with Shep often covering Sienna’s travel costs as they got to know each other. But things took a turn when Sienna asked him to book a last-minute flight so she could join him at his family’s home in Linville, North Carolina.
While Shep did agree, the timing rubbed him the wrong way. He later confessed that the situation felt unbalanced, explaining that he had made detailed plans and handled everything — and all he wanted was a little effort in return.
"Just meet me somewhere in the middle," he said. "I’m not a desperate man flying girls around."
The tension escalated when Sienna reportedly replied, “Where I come from, the man takes care of everything,” signaling a clear disconnect in values.
Feeling frustrated, Shep suggested they take a break — a suggestion that Sienna accepted. Though the two briefly reconciled afterward, their differences ultimately led to a final split.
Their rocky dynamic has been featured on recent episodes of Southern Charm, giving fans an unfiltered glimpse into the highs and lows of their short-lived romance.
Whether they’ll cross paths again remains unclear, but one thing’s certain: this “little break” marked the beginning of the end for Shep and Sienna.
