Shep Rose Warns: Southern Charm Season 11 Will Be Completely Different – "The Storm Isn't Enough to Say!"

With filming wrapped as of July 16, Shep Rose says Season 11 of “Southern Charm” marks a turning point—for the series and for his own life.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Now, the Bravo star teased what’s to come, including new castmates, a new mentality, and a whole new chapter.

A ‘Fantastic’ Upcoming Season

While plot details are still under wraps, Rose hinted that the upcoming season brings cast shake-ups and fresh dynamics. “There are new cast members, and it’s fun to get to know somebody and get their point of view,” said the reality star. “And then, you know, the usual shenanigans of the usual players still remain.”

As previously confirmed, Jarrett “JT” Thomas, Ryan Albert, Leva Bonaparte, and Taylor Ann Green will not appear on the next season.

Even after more than a decade of drama, Rose insists the “Southern Charm” well hasn’t run dry. “It’s always one of those things, just like, do we have any more meat on the bone, so to speak?” he said. “And it turns out we do. It’s like, it’s never-ending bone.”

“It’s a really, really good season. I think it’s going to be fantastic,” he added.

New Season, New Shep?

Long labeled the group’s commitment-phobe, Rose now hints that fans may see a more grown-up side of him in Season 11.

“So a little bit about this season, it’s like, ‘Oh, Shep’s all grown up.’ I mean, only took me 45 years, I guess—but yeah, that’s part of it,” he said. “I’m in a nice spot, and I’m very happy, and I’m tranquil.”

Part of that transformation may stem from his split with ex-girlfriend Sienna Evans.

“It was tough,” he admitted. “You know, I kind of had the rug pulled up from underneath me, and I thought I felt a certain way, and they felt the same way. And turns out that it’s not always. Life isn’t peaches and cream, right? Unfortunately, if everything worked out for us, what kind of life would that be? That’s not kind of life I like. I like adversity.”

As for his dating life now? “I was on a date last night,” he casually shared.

However, it seems the shift in Rose’s mindset extends beyond romance. These days, he says he’s focused on passion projects that help him disconnect.

“I talk a little bit about it on this season currently, and I think I just want to chase my passions,” he said. “The things that make me happy don’t require a cell phone, by the way. Whether it’s in the ocean, surfing, whether it’s in a creek in Alaska, whether it’s, you know, in the outback of Australia—whatever. I just think exploring and scratching my adventurous itch, right? Is my thing.”

While Bravo has yet to announce the official premiere date for Season 11 of “Southern Charm,” with new cast members, fresh energy, and a matured Shep at the center, it’s shaping up to be one of the show’s most compelling chapters yet.
