As we wait to see if Victor is about to cross one or more of those unforgivable lines, let’s take a look at the offenses that Claire simply cannot overlook.
Coming Between Kyle And His Parents Again
Claire invested significant time and energy in assisting Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to mend his relationship with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).
If Victor were to undermine Kyle’s connection with his parents at this point, Claire would be extremely angry. While she holds affection for Victor and desires his approval, there are boundaries she won’t cross.
Observing Victor jeopardize the advancements Kyle has achieved with Diane and Jack would certainly infuriate Claire—possibly to the extent of siding against her grandfather. That would be number one of Victor’s unforgivable actions.
Causing Jack Or Kyle Prison Time
Victor has successfully infiltrated Jabot with the help of spies that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) assisted in placing there, but Kyle and Jack have caught wind of his scheme. As they plan to turn those same spies against Victor, trouble is on the horizon.
Victor is bound to retaliate, perpetuating this cycle of revenge, but the question remains: how far will he go to make Kyle and Jack suffer? It wouldn’t be surprising if Victor orchestrated a setup to frame them for corporate wrongdoing.
If he were to succeed in getting Jack and Kyle imprisoned, even temporarily, it could lead to a rift with Claire that she might never forgive.
Putting Kyle Or Jack In Danger
We can’t dismiss the chance that Victor might put Kyle or Jack in a dangerous situation. When he’s furious, Victor tends to make reckless decisions, and his anger will surely escalate once Jack and Kyle foil his espionage scheme.
Is it possible that the latest chapter of the Newman-Abbott rivalry could escalate to a more perilous level?
Could this lead to Jack and Kyle facing real threats? If so, Claire might completely sever ties with Victor and view him as a villain.
Using Summer Or Audra To Seduce Kyle
Victor has promised Claire that he won’t interfere with her relationship with Kyle, despite his reservations.
However, it appears he may be on the verge of breaking that promise by urging Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to take revenge on Kyle, likely by sabotaging his romance with Claire.
If Victor manages to manipulate Audra or even Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) into a scheme to seduce Kyle, it could push Claire to her breaking point. Such a betrayal might lead her to sever ties with Victor, marking it as one of his biggest blunders.
