Grant has made it clear since the season finale aired that he was never unsure about his feelings for Juliana. Instead, he was hesitant to hurt Litia, who he did truly love but didn’t see a future with her.
Bachelor Nation fans thought they spotted an engagement ring hidden on Juliana’s hand a few weeks before the finale. They accused her of spoiling her season. But according to Juliana, ABC held the ring ‘hostage’ until the actual engagement.
She explained to Entertainment Weekly when she physically had the ring in her possession. She shut down the speculation that she spoiled the season, “I now can wear this thing, but I did not have it in my possession until [March 24th.]”
