SHOCKING SHADE: Amanda Holden FIRES BACK at Rumors She’s Being Replaced on BGT After Panel Shake‑Up!

Amanda Holden has hinted at who could "replace" her on the Britain's Got Talent judging panel following news of a shake-up earlier this year.

Speaking in a recent interview, the glamorous judge, 54, was quizzed on who she thought was the "biggest joker" among the BGT judges, prompting Amanda to reveal who she thinks could "replace us on the panel".

It comes after BGT saw a major shake-up for the latest season, as auditions for the 18th series were held solely in the Winter Gardens in Blackpool rather than switching between other venues, such as The London Palladium.

Meanwhile, Amanda has pointed to Simon Cowell as the resident joker on the panel before explaining how his son now attends the auditions. She then suggested who could take their place in "years to come".

She told Closer magazine: "I'd say Simon, especially now that (his son) Eric comes down to auditions and the live shows. He's much more emotional now and loves to see Eric laughing.

"Simon will quite often look to Eric to see how he is reacting to an act. We joke that all our kids will replace us on the panel in years to come!"

According to the Shields Gazette, filming for the latest season kicked off in late 2024 and continued the following year. However, a source previously suggested to TV Zone that the change of venues for the auditions may have been for a simple reason.

They claimed that despite the Palladium being an "iconic venue" compared to the shows in Blackpool, the audience in the North is "way more up for it", confirming that the remaining auditions would be filmed in the Lancashire town.

Amanda will step back into her judging role alongside Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon for the live grand final tonight as hopefuls battle it out for the cash prize and a spot in the Royal Variety Performance.

In other recent Amanda news, the star jokingly agreed to get married to her Heart Breakfast colleague, Ashley Roberts. Her reason for the union is that the Pussycat Dolls singer would apparently be an ideal holiday companion and photographer.

She explained that family members tended to "moan" about her bikini snaps, which the TV personality often posts on her Instagram page. During the broadcast in question, Amanda, Ashley and Jamie Theakston discussed so-called "friendship marriages" in China.‌

Ashley suggested that she and Amanda should tie the knot, to which the BGT judge replied: "I think let's get married, because we'd holiday all the time, we'd be really good at taking each other's bikini shots and no one would moan, like in my family, everyone just moans when I do that."
