SHOCKING: Why Sally MUST Embrace Her Dark Side on Y&R – The Ultimate Power Move!

The Young and the Restless character Sally, with the Soap Hub logo.Y&R character Sally needs to switch from good girl to bad girl.

Sally has become one of the popular heroines on The Young and the Restless. Like many characters, she’s been through lots of drama, but is now on the straight and narrow path. However, it’s time she returns to stirring up drama.

Good Girl Gone Bad

Sally (Courtney Hope) wasn’t always the good girl she is now. When she first arrived in Genoa City, she was a troublemaker. She flirted with Jack (Peter Bergman) to get ahead at Jabot. Then she began a feud with Summer (Allison Lanier).

Sally teamed with Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) to break up Summer and Kyle (Michael Mealor). When Summer’s mother Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) exposed the duo’s scheme, Sally lost everything.

However, being the fighter she is, Sally clawed her way back to the top. Since then she’s changed her devious ways and became a well-respected Genoa City resident.

While Sally’s worked hard to turn her life around, the character is long overdue for a change. Sally’s good girl persona has become a bit bland. The character is too nice and her life is lacking drama.

But a return to her bad girl roots would shake things up.

Battle Of The Redheads

The best way to have Sally become a villain is by reigniting her feud with Phyllis.

Currently, Phyllis has become a thorn in Sally and Billy’s (Jason Thompson) relationship. Phyllis is going through a tough time following her kidnapping and Sally’s trying to be understanding. But the constant interruptions are irritating Sally.

This week’s video preview has Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) encouraging Sally to become devious to deal with the Phyllis and Billy situation. Sally will be hesitant to go back to her scheming ways, but she might have no choice. The more disruptions Phyllis cause, the more desperate Sally will become.

If she wants Phyllis out of her and Billy’s lives, she’ll have to pull a page out of her old playbook.
