Actress Shweta Tripathi is a popular face in the OTT world. She has etched a mark in the acting world with prominent roles in web series like Mirzapur and Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein. She has also worked opposite several Bollywood actors like Vicky Kaushal, Vijay Varma and Ali Fazal. The actress continues to win people’s hearts with her talent and bubbly persona. Recently, she opened up about binge-watching one of her favourite shows on OTT, The Last Of Us.
Shweta Tripathi told Hindustan Times that she has been hooked to Pedro Pascal-led thriller series The Last Of Us and explained why she loves it. Talking about her current favourite binge-watch choice, she said, “A show that I'm going crazy about is The Last of Us. I mean hello, it’s Pedro Pascal, and just look at him. Even Bella Ramsey, for that matter.”
Mirzapur actress also talked about the elements that kept her hooked throughout the show. She said, “The thrill of the video game, like ‘oh my god, what's going to happen’, that is what the show does to me. I'm really hooked on and season two just blew my mind. Everything from the music to the writing to the moments that they create, I am all for it.” She even mentioned her favourite character from the series and said, “My favourite is Pedro Pascal's character. Just the mention of his name makes you happy, especially with his looks.”
Praising the show, Shweta Tripathi expressed why she recommends watching it and said, “I like content that evoke emotions. When we see stories of a different world, it helps us. Anything with emotions really does the trick for me. The Last Of Us is so thrilling and every department from the music to costume and production and everything is really high up there in its level.”
On being asked about her watching routine, Shweta mentioned that she doesn’t enjoy watching any heavy stuff before going to sleep. She opts for something lighter to watch at night and leaves the heavy content for the day. She further added that she is a solo watcher and enjoys watching stuff alone because for her, it's like doing your homework. Apart from entertainment, she learns a lot by watching the content of others. But she also enjoys watching content with Malika Dua.
