A significant update has emerged on Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak after suffering an upper-body injury.
In the Boston Bruins' last game before the holiday break, they received some terrible news regarding star forward David Pastrnak.
Pastrnak took a hit in the neutral zone, and looked shaken up from it. He would go on to take a couple more shifts, but just after the halfway mark of the second period, he would end up going down the tunnel to the locker room.
The Boston Bruins would later announce that David Pastrnak would not return to the game for the Bruins.
Later on, the video of the hit that injured David Pastrnak was revealed and it really did not look like much, but obviously it was enough for Pastrnak not to return.
Take a look:
There was a lot of speculation that Pastrnak was already dealing with a injury, or had a lingering injury and this hit just caused it to be worse.
A major development was shared Friday morning regarding Pastrnak and it's good news for the Boston Bruins, as the star player was on the ice at Nationwide Arena for the Bruins' morning skate.
There has still been no official announcement from Joe Sacco on whether or not Pastrnak will play Friday night.
