Simon Cowell was left fearing for his safety on Saturday's Britain's Got Talent as he was dragged up on stage by an act before a crew member rushed to his side

At the Britain's Got Talent auditions, things took a worrying turn last Saturday (March 8) when Simon Cowell elicited concern and had to be helped by a co-star who questioningly inquired, "Are you okay?".

Series 18 of the popular talent show has been captivating viewers with a fresh crop of talents stepping into the spotlight before a live audience at the auditions.

In a nail-biting segment from tonight's episode, yoga expert Kranthi Drillman came to the London Palladium, having journeyed all the way from India. With his performance kickoff, he delves into a dazzling display of strength, demolishing an array of coconuts and melons using his hands, teeth, and even his foreheadrendering the panel of judges speechless.

Things escalated quickly when Kranthi beckoned an obviously reluctant Simon onto the stage during his act, eliciting a frustrated response from the judge: "Oh, not again!".

As Simon cautiously climbed onto the stage, a member of the crew warned him about the slick surface, advising him that he "You need to stay completely still.", reports the Express.

"Simon's getting involved, he must be mad? Don't do it!" Dec exclaimed, with Alesha Dixon expressing her trepidations as well: "I don't think he should do it."

Amidst waves of anxiety, Kranthi boldly blindfolded himself and proceeded to try and strike watermelons with a big hammer while Simon lay precariously amongst them.

"I don't know what to do with myself. I don't like it," expressed Alesha, concern evident as the team kept vigil over Simon during the risky act.

But tension hit an all-time high when Kranthi began to quiver and slip amidst his performance, slamming down on the melons, sending alarm through Simon's colleagues who looked on in horror.

Amid escalating danger, Simon Cowell exclaimed: "That's it!" prompting a crew member to dash onto the stage for a rescue, guiding Simon to safety away from the oversized hammer.

Once the performance was aborted, a rattled Simon shot up and exclaimed: "Are you f***ing crazy?".

Reflecting on the terrifying moment afterward, he confessed: "I didn't know he was going to do that! That's the scariest thing, I swear to god, I've ever done."

The incident left Britain's Got Talent audiences dumbfounded, with fans spilling their incredulity onto X (formerly Twitter), one penned: "No way did production just allow that to happen."
