Sister Wives: "Born To Run!" - Meri, Janelle & Christine's American Adventures After Weight Loss Journeys

Oh, someday, girl, I don't know when

We're gonna get to that place

Where we really wanna go and we'll walk in the sun

But 'til then, tramps like us

Baby, we were born to run - Born To Run (Bruce Springsteen)

When the Brown family fell apart in Sister Wives season 18 and three wives scattered, it seemed like Armageddon - however, that "tragedy" gave Meri, Janelle and Christine Brown a taste of something truly delicious - American freedom. Out on the highways, bikers in skeleton masks ride the "suicide machines" that Bruce Springsteen sang about in Born to Run. Fearless, adrenalized, and sucking the marrow out of life, they hit their throttles, making their journeys as important as their destinations. Now, Kody's exes are embarking on the kinds of adventures that make them realize they're better off without the cranky, one-note patriarch.

Sister Wives season 18 wasn't exactly a laugh riot. Plural marriage sucks and that's a fact. It makes women totally miserable. So, it's no wonder that Kody Brown couldn't wrangle a passel of wives. Unsurprisingly, he could only satisfy one of them. That left three unhappy women - for years, they'd quietly stored up rage. In the latest installment, there was a seismic shift. Meri, Janelle and Christine couldn't take it anymore. They began to emote - Janelle lashed out, telling Kody to:

f*ck off

The Newlywed Is Up For Anything

Wendy, let me in, I wanna be your friend

I wanna guard your dreams and visions - Born To Run (Bruce Springsteen)

In Born To Run, Bruce wanted to "guard" Wendy's "dreams and visions," and nothing could be more romantic. Luckily, after a loveless marriage with Kody, Christine found a man who would do just that. David Woolley considers Christine his queen. He is all in, giving her everything, just like she always wanted. In the Instagram post shown above, Christine glowed while posing with her man. They wore full NASCAR regalia. She said:

We’re so excited to join the NASCAR festivities starting today!! I’ve looked online everywhere and don’t see how to get tickets for the pre-race track pass. 🤦🏼‍♀️ or is it sold out? 🏎️🏁 #pitpass #hendrickmotorsports #nascar #cocacola600

The look on Christine's face says it all - the polygamy escapee is soaring like an eagle. She's out of the mire. Every day with her new husband David's an adventure - he's into NASCAR but also loves off-road vehicles. They tool around the Utah desert in a tricked-out RZR - it's a utility task vehicle that's perfect for exploring the Beehive State.

Christine's never looked slimmer or happier - her joy makes her totally beautiful. Yes, she's chugging those ubiquitous Plexus "pink drinks" but that isn't really her beauty secret. The reason she looks so great is the guy who's standing beside her. With Kody, Christine never got the love or passion she needed. She was trapped in a situation without hope.

Since Christine's a strong woman, she changed her life - she was sick of being unhappy. Now, look at her! By tapping into her own power, and tapping out of plural marriage, she changed the game.

Christine always did a lot for the Brown family - she was the nurturer. She cooked and cleaned - Christine also cared for the children. All of her own kids are devoted to her. Now, she can have romance too, and does she ever deserve it. As well, there are dollops of excitement, such as NASCAR outings. These are like the whipped cream on the ice cream sundae that is Christine's new life.

Women who are afraid to evolve should be inspired by this woman. She does nothing halfheartedly and never will.

Together we could break this trap

We'll run 'til we drop, baby, we'll never go back - Born To Run (Bruce Springsteen)

Meri was so pretty in pink at Thanksgiving. Post-Kody, she's free of the "trap" that was holding her back. For years, she tried to make it work with a man who loved someone else. Meri's a sensitive, caring and intelligent woman - she can do so much better. During her Thanksgiving trip, she hung out with pals, posed with an adorable little boy, and looked fabulous.

She appears to have lost a dramatic amount of weight after leaving her soul-sucking spiritual union behind. Her natural beauty's emerging with a vengeance.

Also, Meri's making major career moves. Energized by freedom, creativity's fizzing in her veins - it's like every cell in her body is lit up. Her ideas are coming thick and fast, and she's bringing them to fruition. Worthy Up is her latest venture, but she already owns a bed and breakfast, Lizzie's Heritage Inn. Worthy Up is an online platform where Meri helps subscribers to conquer their fears and love themselves. Her journey has had so much darkness - now, she's leading her followers into the light, and enjoying some fun USA pit stops along the way.

Janelle Brown Watched The Eclipse With Her Loved Ones

She's Trying To Heal After Garrison Brown's Death

Janelle is grieving. She lost her son, Garrison Brown, on March 5, 2024. Many of her adventures are centered on honoring the beautiful person who is now gone. She's bravely moving forward despite the type of emotional pain that would break a lot of people. Janelle's also finding strength by spending time with her nearest and dearest. She was a wonderful mother who tried to save her son. In the Instagram post above, Janelle gathered with loved ones to watch the recent eclipse.

Two years ago I realized that the path of totality would go right across @_michellepetty dad’s place in Arkansas. Michelle, Logan and I started planning. What a fun day. It’s also hard to describe how profound it is to witness this phenomenon. It left us all with a deeper sense of awe for the physical world around us. The next total eclipse is going to be in Spain 2026 and we are wondering if we are crazy to decide to chase after it.

This woman's bold American spirit shines through in good times and bad. She is such a resilient woman. While her heart is broken, she has courage and stays emotionally present for her family, including her children. Just to see her smiling on Instagram feels so good - she is a person it's very easy to root for.

The Sister Wives exes are blooming. They aren't pining for Kody - they are living. While Janelle has the most challenges, her willingness to forge ahead means that her journey is ultimately the most inspiring - simply because it's the hardest. It requires the most gumption. In Heaven, she'll "walk in the sun" with Garrison. Until then, she'll share her warmth and good sense with the world - fans should give her as much support as they can.
