After 32 years of marriage, Sister Wives stars Meri Brown and Kody Brown called it quits, and she has since been losing weight and looking better than ever. Meri was the first of Kody's four wives. Having always loved Christmas, Meri wasn't going to let her divorce dampen her holiday fun. In December 2023, Meri posted an Instagram photo that received 54.2K likes. In the heavily filtered selfie, Meri posed in front of a white Christmas tree, rocking a choppy red shoulder-length bob hair and a red holiday sweatshirt.

By the time Meri ended her marriage with Kody, his second and third wives, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown, had already walked away. The Brown family tacitly separated into two: Team Christine and Janelle on one side and Team Kody and Robyn on the other. Meri was stuck with Kody and Robyn, cutting off her connections to Christine, Janelle, and all their children. With Meri's one child grown up and out of the house, all Meri had was Kody and Robyn. When the Sister Wives star finally ended things with Kody, she was on her own.

Meri and Kody didn't officially announce their split until January 2023, but Meri was already living as a single woman long before. She even vacationed on her own, without Kody or the rest of the Brown family. In October 2022, Meri posted a vacation shot to Instagram. In the photo, Meri and her friend, artist and interior designer Blaire Michael, pose with a statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. Meri is beaming in the photo, and the caption reads, "Favorite photo of the day!"

Meri and Blaire are just friends, but Meri has waded back into the dating world since her split from Kody. It wasn't long after she came out as a single woman that Meri met Amos Andrews, and the relationship got very serious quickly. Fellow sister wife Christine Brown had married David Woolley a few short years after leaving Kody, and hopes were high that Meri and Amos would go down a similar path. Sadly, the relationship ended soon after it began. In February, Meri announced the breakup with Amos and was single again.

Meri always had an entrepreneurial spirit, even during her plural marriage with Kody and his other wives. The Browns were involved in various business ventures over the years. For starters, the Browns had a clothing store, a jewelry business, and a 2012 New York Times bestseller called Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of Unconventional Marriage. Near the end of her marriage, Meri made a lifelong dream come true by turning her grandmother's old house into a charming bed and breakfast called Lizzie's Heritage Inn.

According to Meri's official website, she has been busy growing her empire. The landing page of her site reads, "Unveiling The Heart. A Journey Through The Layers Of Meri's World," and focuses on her business ventures. "From motivational speaking engagements to product lines, every project is a reflection of Meri’s belief in the power of self-worth," reads the website copy, followed by a list of her business ventures. In addition to the B&B, Meri works with Parklane, Lularoe, and Cameo. She recently started Worthy Up, which is a self-help and life coaching subscription service.
