Steffy wants her back.
This week’s slow burn goes to Daphne Rose on The Bold and the Beautiful. Steffy invited her back to Forrester Creations. It’s the right business call since the numbers speak for themselves. Daphne’s debut fragrance during the House of Forrester show did well. So, it would make sense for The Nose to return in true form.
Why She Could Return
Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) is a woman in high demand. This week on B&B, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) called up her friend and asked her to come back. She admitted that she still needs her friend in Los Angeles. Also, Daphne’s new fragrance has won over buyers. It would make sense to include her in future meetings and events at Forrester Creations.
But there’s just one problem. Steffy originally enlisted Daphne to break up Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope (Annika Noelle), which didn’t end up working. The couple got back together after a little back-and-forth… And then, surprise! Carter popped the question. Daphne heard about their engagement news and doesn’t have any desire to return to L.A. However, she could return eventually since she still has feelings for him.
Is Daphne Hiding Something?
We still don’t know what happened the night Daphne went to Carter’s loft. He was brokenhearted and confused after mistakenly hearing Hope speak to Liam (Scott Clifton). He assumed that she wanted her ex-husband back. Daphne stayed with Carter until he felt better. Did she nurse his broken heart by staying the night?
Daphne isn’t the type of woman who falls in love easily. It’s hard to believe that she got choked up after a few kisses. It’s possible that the two shared a night of passion. We could see Daphne returning in July with a surprise in tow. She could be carrying Carter’s baby, which would disrupt Cope’s wedding plans.
