Sonja Morgan has spoken out after being named as the Real Housewives of New York City cast member who was allegedly banned from SoulCycle classes due to her disruptive behavior, including a mid-class make-out.
Just over a month after the owner of NYC restaurant Tucci banned her from dining at his establishment over an unpaid bill she has since paid for, a former SoulCycle instructor accused Sonja, 61, of causing a scene that led her to be barred from attending future classes.
On the June 24 episode of Cult of Body & Soul, a docu-series created by Jess Rothschild, the unnamed instructor recalled Sonja attending classes at the East 63rd Street location, which was close to the iconic townhouse she sold for $4.5 million at an auction last year.
Speaking of the day she was reportedly banned, the instructor said Sonja had been seated in the front row, where she continuously spoke and engaged in a make-out with the man on the bike beside her. After the class, the staff brought up the behavior to Sonja and requested that she tone down her antics. But their ask didn’t go over well with the former reality star, who allegedly became argumentative and asked, “Do you know who I am!?”
According to the source, Sonja was ultimately banned due to her reaction to the request — but only temporarily.
Following the sharing of the rumor, Sonja spoke out on Instagram.
“If you even believe this … I’m dying laughing so hard,” Sonja wrote after learning of the report, via a screenshot shared by Comments by Bravo on Instagram.
Then, after Christian Gray Snow offered, “God forbid a girl catch a d*ck every once in a while,” she replied, “Hahaha.”
Sonja Morgan was featured on The Real Housewives of New York City seasons three through 13.
