Southern Charm's Taylor Ann Green Officially Confirms Her Exit From The Show With 'Bittersweet' Announcement

   

Bravo's Southern Charm is celebrating ten seasons (having first started filming in 2014), and as fans eagerly await Season 11, there will be some changes, most notably to the cast. Taylor Ann Green, who joined the show in Season 7, has announced her departure, sharing the news in a heartfelt post on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Green shared a clip from her interview on The Viall Files podcast where she promoted her athleisure brand, Reset Athletic. As her company grows, she has decided to leave behind her reality TV gig and focus on building it. In the caption, she informed fans of her "bittersweet" decision and how she would be leaving Southern Charm with a "heavy but peaceful heart."

"These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life," she wrote of her experience on the show (she first landed a spot on Southern Charm as Shep Rose's girlfriend, and despite their breakup she continued as a TV favorite). Green continued, "I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, bravo family and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today. A wild rollercoaster but an incredible one to say the least."

Speaking of her business, she informed fans that she wanted to make it her focus and "continue to bring our dream into reality." To conclude, she thanked all those who have supported her journey, summing it up as an "exceptional reality TV ride." Unsurprisingly, fans have reacted to Green's post and have been eager to share their thoughts. The majority of the comments have been incredibly positive as people celebrate the end of an era with Green on Southern Charm.

Proud of you, TAG can't wait to see where y'all take @resetathletic," a comment reads. "So excited to see all the amazing things you'll accomplish!! On to the next chapter sweet girl," another fan shared.

Love ya!" and "I'll miss seeing you on the show but wishing you the best on your next journey."Green is not the only person who is on to the next chapter in her life and her career! Just last month, Leva Bonaparte made a statement of her own on Instagram, announcing her decision to leave Southern Charm. "I am in a place now in my life where I want to have time to focus on Boys and my Joys. And need some time for a life reset on what is aligned for me!" she wrote about her reasoning for leaving the show.

While fans wish two of Southern Charm's sweetest cast members all the best for their future endeavors, it will be exciting to learn who will take their place on the show.
