Southern Charm has sparked several spinoffs over the years, but Southern Charm: Savannah might’ve been the most dramatic.
The Bravo spinoff premiered in 2017 and lasted two seasons before it came to an end in 2018. Savannah focused on a group of friends living in the Georgia city, including then-couples Catherine “Coop” Cooper and Lyle Mackenzie and Hannah Pearson and Louis Oswald. While their high-society lifestyles, including festive parties and over-the-top fundraisers were central to the show, it was the on-off romances that pulled fans in. During the series finale, which aired in September 2018, the group celebrated the 250th anniversary of Savannah on a steamboat and things quickly blew up.Pearson and Oswald chose to take a real “break” after a tumultuous trip to St. Barths one episode prior. Cooper and Mackenzie, meanwhile, agreed to move in together even though she previously rejected his proposal. (Spoiler: It didn’t last.)

Cooper revealed during the season 2 finale that although she wasn’t ready to get engaged, she wanted Mackenzie to move in. He accepted her proposal (which included a key in a small ring box), but their bliss was short-lived.
After filming wrapped, Cooper and Mackenzie did spend a little time together according to social media, including a group Memorial Day celebration in May 2019. Cooper has since kept her personal life private, going dark on Instagram after 2021.
In September 2019, Cooper announced that she joined Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty after testing out a few different professions on the series. She is currently a realtor for the firm in Georgia, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Lyle Mackenzie
After a failed proposal to Cooper at the end of season 1, Mackenzie had a will-they, won’t-they relationship with his high school sweetheart throughout season 2. During the finale, rumors surfaced that Mackenzie was hooking up with someone else and the woman was at the group’s boat party. The woman in question played coy about her connection to Mackenzie, while he avoided her and the topic the whole night.
Mackenzie, meanwhile, agreed to move in with Cooper during the finale, but it never came to fruition. The two did briefly date after cameras stopped rolling.
Mackenzie has since retreated from the public eye, making his social media profiles private. Work wise, he has been working in business development for Buy-Rite Salon and Spa Equipment since 2012. He still resides in Georgia, according to LinkedIn.
Hannah Pearson
Pearson and Oswald were on a break when season 2 of the Bravo series wrapped after Oswald claimed that Pearson was “asexual” and she told him he needed to grow up. They were fully back together six months later. The couple continued to date for a couple of years, seemingly splitting at the end of 2020.
After talking about her own clothing on the show, Pearson launched HANNAH in December 2018, which includes wraps and “versatile essentials,” according to her website. Two years later, Pearson moved to Atlanta. She still has her HANNAH brand and continues to work at Old Dominion Freight Line as a manager of field marketing.
Pearson hard-launched her relationship with Arthur Long in July 2023. The pair got engaged that September and tied the knot in March 2024. Pearson announced in February 2025 that she is pregnant with her and Long’s first baby.
Louis Oswald
Oswald and Pearson dated for two years after Southern Charm: Savannah ended, calling it quits sometime in 2020. Oswald continues to run his JL The Brand sock company, which was founded in 2013. He has been a sales manager at Emerald Petroleum Company Inc. since September 2020, according to LinkedIn.
Oswald got engaged to real estate agent Rachel Peller in March 2023 and they eloped one month later. The couple welcomed their first baby, son Louis Jr., in October 2023. Oswald announced in December 2024 that his wife is expecting their second child.
Ashley Borders
Borders told her husband, Dennis, during the season 1 finale, which aired in 2017, that she was done with their marriage. The exes continue to coparent their son, Isacc “Izzy,” who graduated high school in May 2022.
Borders raised eyebrows for her job status during the Bravo series — she worked part time at the airport while also running her own stylist business. Once the show was over, she continued to travel all over the world as a movie stylist, hair and makeup artist and costume director and has dabbled in acting. In September 2024, Borders became a creative content specialist at the Center for the Study of World Religions, Harvard Divinity School.
She moved on romantically with Aaron Zigman, whom she called her husband in March 2022. However, Zigman hasn’t been featured on Borders’ Instagram since that summer.
Daniel Eichholz
After moving back to Savannah to help his family’s business, Eichholz expressed concerns with being fulfilled at work. He vowed during the series finale that he would “go and just travel” to find himself again and his father fully supported his decision.
Years later, Eichholz is still a strategic planner for his family’s Eichholz Law Firm, according to his LinkedIn. However, he is also the founder of his own digital marketing company Proclus Global, which was created in Austin. The former reality star appears to split his time between Austin and Savannah when he’s not traveling, but Eichholz hasn’t posted on social media since 2021.
Hagood Coxe
Coxe joined the cast during season 2 and documented the start of her Saké making business using her family’s rice crops. She launched her Gold Carolina Saké in stores around the Savannah area in March 2023 and she continues to paint.
Coxe was connected to the Southern Charm: Savannah cast through then-boyfriend Alex Jarman who was close friends with Mackenzie. Coxe and Jarman’s relationship fizzled out in 2020. She debuted her new romance in July 2021 with Dale Critz, whom she married in April 2024. The couple added a puppy named PeeDee to their family in May 2024.
Nelson Lewis
Lewis made waves during the show for his alleged derogatory remarks and antisemitic comments but later apologized to his castmates for his actions. The former Fox News producer/booker has been working for Newsveting, LLC since November 2015. He is the vice president and senior strategist for the company, according to LinkedIn.
Lewis appears to be single, according to social media, but is a big part of his three nephew’s lives.
Brandon Branch
Branch was the cast’s older and mostly wiser friend for two seasons. He also helped Cooper learn the ropes of interior design before she chose a different career path. Branch has since continued to work in design and is the co-owner of The St Francisville Inn in Louisiana. He is married to Jim Johnston.
