Vanderpump Villa‘s Stassi Schroeder compared And Just Like That … to The Valley.
On Stassi’s eponymous podcast, she and her guest discussed how And Just Like That is similar to Bravo TV‘s spinoff show. .
Flop eras:
Stassi, who starred on Vanderpump Rules and declined a role on The Valley, sees a lot of commonalities between SATC and VPR‘s spinoff shows.
According to Stassi, SATC’s Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte are “all less funny” versions of their original characters. “They’re less chic. They’re less fun.”
Her guest added, “They’re less happy. They’re less fabulous. I know plenty of cool people in their 50s whom I aspire to be like. I can’t believe that this crew of people gives me no hope for the future. It’s bad.”
Without missing a beat, Stassi quipped that watching And Just Like That is “like watching the Valley.”
Stassi spoke about watching The Valley last year:
The New York Times best-selling author admitted she can’t help but keep up with the show she was *almost* on. Like many of us, Stassi watches The Valley to feel better about her life.
Stassi compared watching The Valley to social media sleuthing. “Do you ever go on Facebook and look up people that you went to school with just to see what’s going on?”
“That’s what The Valley is to me.”
“I watch [it] for comfort at this point so I can sleep well at night.”
