Steve Burton Takes Followers Behind The Scenes At General Hospital

He’s stonecold photogenic!

Jason may be stonecold on General Hospital, but his portrayer Steve Burton has got a talent for capturing the moment. The actor recent took to social media to give fans a peek behind his lens.

Where The Magic Happens

Since Burton’s return to GH in 2024, he’s shared a lot of behind the scenes snaps from Port Charles, but his latest may be his best yet. Along with seven photos, Burton captioned his Instagram post, “Some behind the scenes shots I took @abcgeneralhospital.”

The leading photo is one of Burton himself in full blown Stonecold mode, donning his leather jacket and holding a (prop) gun.

“Blessed. Grateful. Thanks for watching,” Burton ended the caption.

Racking up more than 17,000 likes, the carousel of photos include Burton in his dressing room reading a script, a candid moment between him and co-star Maurice Benard (Sonny), and another photo with a prop gun in-hand that shows off his sleeve tattoo.

The post got the attention of several of Burton’s co-stars past and present, starting with his on-screen twin brother, Cameron Mathison (Drew). “Twin,” Mathison first commented, then added, “Which one of us is the evil twin?” The joke got several responses from fans claiming Mathison’s character was, in fact, the evil one.

Kimberly McCullough (Robin) wrote, “Stevie! And Mo!” while Kin Shriner (Scott) noted the prop guns. “Actors with guns, it [sic] all about the position of the gun.”

GH newcomer Sawandi Wilson (Isaiah) took to the comments with a compliment: “The composition though,” he wrote.

Among the co-stars and lesions of fans was also a comment from Burton’s fiancee, Michelle Lundstrom, who wrote, “Gosh I love you.”
