Strictly Come Dancing fans react as Gorka Marquez shares family update
Strictly Come Dancing fans have rushed to comment on Gorka Marquez’s most recent post on social media, featuring his two children with Gemma Atkinson, whom he met on the BBC show.
It's been confirmed the professional dancer will return to the beloved programme later this year, as the countdown for Strictly Come Dancing begins.
With the celebrity lineup yet to be released, names are already circulating about who could be stepping onto the dancefloor. However, in the meantime, the Strictly pros are keeping fans updated with their personal lives.
Gorka, who recently took part in Soccer Aid, shared an adorable string of snaps this week of his two children Mia and Thiago.
The two children were seen standing against a wall with Mia stroking her younger brother’s head.
In another image, Gorka is posing in front of a mirror with the two children doing a peace sign with his hands.
In the final photo, Mia is seen wearing sunglasses while leaning back on the wall as Thiago looks at his big sister. Gorka captioned the snaps: “Last day of School! Year 1 completed [sic]”
He then set the task for his followers to try and caption what his son was thinking in the last pic as he stared at Mia.
It wasn’t long before people commented on the images with one person saying: “You have the most gorgeous children.”
Another commented: “They grow too fast for sure.”Someone else wrote: “Lovely pictures, beautiful children.”
One fan added: “Thiago is thinking When I grow up I want to be like Mia.”
“Lovely children! Where is the time going? A credit to you and Gemma,” wrote another. While another follower commented: “Mia is your double Gemma.”
Gorka met his fiancee Gemma back in 2017 when the actress appeared on the show alongside Aljaz Skorjanec. However, a friendship developed which quickly turned into romance.
Gemma gave birth to her first child in 2019, with Thiago being born in 2023.
