The Strictly star is currently on the road as she tours the country in her own joint-headline show with friend and co-star Vito Coppola
Dianne Buswell has been told to 'stop it' after sharing an adorable moment with fans, after sharing news of her recent heartbreaking loss.
The Strictly Come Dancing star is currently on the road as she tours the country in her own joint-headline show with friend and co-star Vito Coppola.
The pair announced their plans to hit the road together in a joint tour in May 2024, but the string of shows across the country officially kicked off last week.
The tour, titled Dianne and Vito: Red Hot and Ready, comes from those behind Burn The Floor, a live dance show which has performed around the world.
Last week, Dianne was left emotional when she was able to be joined by her Strictly 2024 dance partner Chris McCausland on stage, marking only their second in-person reunion since winning the hit dance show back in Decemeber.
Alongside a video of her revealing her special guest to the audience before cheers and applause rang out as she guided him onto the stage, Dianne shared on Instagram: "Last night was so special! Having Chris side of stage made me very emotional.
"I’m so grateful for the friendship and for just everything that this wonderful man taught me. We speak every week on the podcast together but this was the second time we seen each other in the flesh since strictly." She then added: "The question is what dance do you want to see us do again for that launch show?"
Now, Dianne has revealed her latest special guest. In a sweet video shared on Instagram, the dancer revealed her niece had made the trip from Australia to watch her perform. Little Zofia was accompanied by her dad, Dianne's brother Andrew, and was given the VIP treatment as she got to hang out on stage before the show, as well as watch Red Hot & Ready for herself.
Alongside the series of clips, which also showed Vito enjoying a dancer with Zofia, Dianne shared: "When Zofia watched her aunty dot dance live on stage. So special.
"She got to have some fun on stage before the show @talia_fowler showed her some [ballet], she was blown away and @vitocoppola had a princess dance with her. Thank you to the whole cast for making her memory so special … p.s she insisted on wearing red lipstick and kept a applying it during the show."
Vito was quick to respond to the post with a string of red heart emojis before simply adding: "pure Love." Fellow Strictly star Michelle Tsiakkas replied: "Omg she kept reapplying the lipstick!!! I can’t she’s too cute."
Fans were also rushing to share their messages. @eddo_official said: "Stop it !! I see a dancer in there. SO happy she got to see you shine on that stage." @dianne_joe_suggwell commented: "So cute! I was at the show last night and loved hearing Zofia in the audience shouting “Auntie Dot”, amazing show! Can’t wait for Blackpool!"
@maiyakarina replied: "this is so special. She will hold these memories FOREVER what a special time for you both." @xlauralou shared: "We were sat a few seats aside of her and could hear he whispering "it's Aunty Dot!". She was so cute. And the show was incredible." @goldenbuswell added: "hearing her throughout the show was the cutest thing! your bond is adorable, definitely something to cherish."
The moving moment comes after Dianne told fans how her beloved grandfather, whom she affectionately called 'Pop', died in Australia having recently celebrated his 99th birthday.
Sharing a video over the weekend of when she last saw him earlier this year during a return home to Australia, Dianne sadly shared: "Rest in peace pop. You were 99 years young."
The professional dancer emotionally added: "Thank you for all the stories and I just know you will be up there dancing with Nan already."
