Katya Jones has declared 'we're off' as she gave an update from the Strictly Come Dancing rehearsal room as preparations continue for the upcoming series.
The professional dancer has been a fan favourite on the BBC One dance show since 2016, winning the show in her second series with Holby City’s Joe McFadden.
Viewers last saw Katya partnered with Wynne Evans, who stepped back from the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour earlier in the year after making an 'inappropriate' remark during the tour's launch, where they made it through to the annual Blackpool special.
It was then back in April that Katya was confirmed to be returning to the dance competition this year as the BBC confirmed its pro dancer line-up for the 2025 series.
She'll be joined in the show's next run by Amy Dowden, Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Nikita Kuzmin, Neil Jones, Gorka Marquez, and Luba Mushtuk.
Dianne Buswell, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Michelle Tsiakkas, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley and Vito Coppola will also take to the ballroom once more.
But that wasn't actually the complete line-up, as when the initial announcement was made, it was also revealed that two brand new professional dancers will be making their debuts when the BBC One dance contest returns their autumn.
The newcomers have since been revealed as So You Think You Can Dance champion Alexis Warr and Australia’s Dancing With The Stars' Julian Caillon and they were seen joining the pros in preparation for Strictly's next run, with the group numbers set to be pre-recorded before the main series gets underway.
Now, Katya has shared an update on social media which has given a glimpse at how being back with her Strictly co-stars has been going so far, and it appears that they couldn't be happier to be back.
Alongside the compilation video, which featured clips of the dancers practising new moves and showing off their other talents, such as singing, the 36-year-old wrote: "And we’re off! It feels good to move the body again!
"Magic in the making, and I can’t wait to dance for all of you again very soon!" She then asked: "Have you missed us?"
Fans were quick to flood the post with the same kind of messages, simply expressing their excitement at Strictly's impending return.
