Strictly Come Dancing's Tasha Ghouri makes 'closure' admission as she speaks out on Andrew Le Page split

Tasha Ghouri has admitted she hasn't got 'closure' from the end of her relationship as she spoke out on her fairly recent split from Andrew Le Page.

The Strictly Come Dancing 2024 contestant previously revealed in her memoir Your Superpower that she was "going to marry" her 30-year-old ex-boyfriend and that they "discussed having children" before they split.

Rumours began in January that Tasha and Andrew - who met on Love Island in 2022 - had parted ways after a two-and-a-half-year romance.

A month after reports that they split in January, Andrew wrote on social media that he had "cried more this year" than at any point in his life.

He added: "End of an era. So guys it's been a pretty c*** start to the year and one I didn't expect. However, life goes on and I'm doing everything in my power to stay positive. All the support has meant the world."

Now, Tasha has said she still hopes to get "closure" from her ex-boyfriend. The reality star, who rose to fame as the first ever deaf contestant on Love Island, spoke about the break-up during a new interview on Rylan Clark's BBC podcast How to Be in Love.

"He was the first boy I fell in love with," Tasha said of Andrew. "I learnt so much from him. He taught me so much about love and I will take that with me."

Speaking about the end of their almost three-year relationship, she added: "It's weird, I feel like we never had that closing chapter. You know when you have that last chat and you have that closure? We didn’t have that. And I feel like that’s still kind of lingering."

Tasha went on to say that she hoped to have "that closure chat" in the future, stating: “He was also my best friend at the time. He was my everything so I really hope one day when things are settled and we have time to grieve we have time to look back on stuff.”

The 26-year-old added: "I really do hope one day we can get back in touch and find that civilness that we had before."

Tasha was also recently asked how she is feeling about dating again, she told the new issue of Heat magazine: "I'm not putting pressure on anything. If I meet someone, great, if I don't, that's fine too. I'm in a space where I feel ready to open those doors again and start dating.

"At some point, I do want to get married and have kids, that's still my goal. Since I was a little girl, I've always imagined being in my wedding dress. I want my dad, my mum and especially my nan to see me get married. My nan's like my best friend, so yeah, I'm not against the doors being open again to date."
