Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola wowed fans as he made a special family announcement. The professional dancer is currently touring the country with Dianne Buswell as part of the Red, Hot and Ready show.

The tour has arrived in Merseyside for the first of two performances at the New Brighton Floral Pavilion tonight. Vito and Dianne have both been sharing updates in Liverpool today ahead of their first show in Wirral later. During his stay in Merseyside, Vito has shared a heartfelt update.

The 32-year-old has revealed it is a big day for the family as his brother, Jonathan, is celebrating his birthday. Vito shared a series of snaps with his brother with his 387,000 Instagram followers.

A translation of the post said: "Today I don't need many words to express what's in my heart: Happy birthday to you my little brother, you are the most important person in my life!

"I love you immensely and I would do anything for you." Dianne was one of the first to take to the comments after the post as she said: "Happy birthday brother. We love you."

Jonathan responded to Vito: "Thank you very much brother, no need for words. Thank you very much to all of you." Ellie Leach, who won Strictly with Vito in 2023 was another of the famous faces to take to the comments to wish Jonathan a happy birthday.

Fans were emotional after Vito's heartfelt words. A fanpage dedicated to the dancer said: "Beautiful tribute to your brother on the show, really did bring tears to my eyes."

Eddo added: "The most special moments. Make me cry every single time." Aine posted: "Happy birthday to your beautiful brother. such a strong bond between you. Beautiful to see, hope nobody ever breaks it."

Steph commented: "Most important person in your life- I love this." Max said: "He's as lucky to have you as you are to have him. These are such lovely things to say about your brother!"

Fans also took to the comments in disbelief at how alike Vito and Jonathan are. Sazzy commented: "Birthday greetings. It’s like seeing double Vito!!" Paul posted: "Wow. You two look identical! So alike."

Vito and Dianne's show gets underway at 7.30pm at the New Brighton Floral Pavilion. They will return to the stage in Merseyside tomorrow.
