The Strictly star's ex-girlfriend Molly Brown is reportedly in talks with Love Island producers

Molly Brown, the former flame of Strictly's Giovanni Pernice, is said to be setting her sights on a summer fling in the Love Island villa as she hopes to embark on a fresh romance.
The 26-year-old brunette, who shared a few months of love with the dance maestro last year, is rumoured to have caught the eye of ITV's producers.
The couple kicked off their whirlwind romance early in 2024 but called it quits after just a few weeks, only to reheat things until July. Their romance unfolded amid the turbulence of Amanda Abbington's bullying allegations against Giovanni.
The drama seemingly proved too heavy for the lovebirds, leading them to bid each other farewell. Insiders are wagging tongues about Molly potentially dishing the dirt on their past liaison, reports the Mirror.

A source told The Sun: "TV execs love a famous ex and the chance for Molly to spill the beans on the biggest scandal for their rival channel the BBC was very tempting."
They added: "She could feature later in the series if show action allows, but ITV do speak to hundreds of singles every year to ensure there's a wide cast ready for every storyline."
Meanwhile, Giovanni has found love again with screen siren Bianca Guaccero. The pair met during the Italian spin-off of Strictly, where sparks flew and a new love story began. They've been flaunting their blooming affair in romantic Barbados getaway snaps on their socials, looking besotted.
The summer series of Love Island has been hailed as the most electrifying instalment to date. The much-anticipated 12th series kicked off on ITV2 on June 9, with Maya Jama returning to present and whipping up a frenzy with teasers of groundbreaking shake-ups and heart-thumping surprises guaranteed to keep viewers glued to their screens.
Mike Spencer-Hayter, an executive producer of Love Island, promised unmatched twists right from the start. He's even let slip that the first fortnight is meticulously mapped out, not the show's standard practice, hinting at transformations especially linked to this year's bombshells.

He told The Sun: "Something big is coming in week one. We've got a really big week one planned. It's hard to say what we're doing without saying it. It's not a celebrity. We've not seen it before."
Mike teased: "There will be things happening for the first couple of days we've not done before and certainly in week one. During that week, there's something incredibly big we've never done before. Hopefully, we can do it. It's quite experimental."
In a bold move away from Love Island tradition, the chief also revealed they've broken the mould by planning two weeks in advance, explaining: "We've mapped out two weeks, which we don't usually do, to be honest. So we've got two weeks planned and one very, very big thing that's never been done ever on Love Island. Globally."
