STRICTLY Come Dancing has failed to receive an expert BAFTA TV nomination for the first time in the show's history.
The long-running BBC programme debuted in 2004 and has been nominated each year since 2005.

It comes as Strictly Come Dancing has faced scandals spanning recent months.
One saw former Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington, who took part in 2023, lodge a series of complaints against pro partner Giovanni.
Meanwhile, The Sun later told how Giovanni had quit Strictly after appearing on the show since 2015.
A source told The Sun: “Gio feels the scrutiny on him has become too much, and now is the time to make a fresh start.
He wants to focus on other TV projects, and feels he’s achieved all he can on Strictly, having won the trophy back in 2021 and reaching the final an unprecedented four times.
“He remains adamant he’s done nothing wrong other than being a hard taskmaster, but knows his style of training isn’t to everyone’s liking — especially in this day and age.
He has a lot of other exciting projects in the pipeline right now, and he’s just super-excited to get cracking on them. This, now, is his priority.”
The BBC conducted a probe into Amanda's allegations made about her former dance partner.
In their report - which was released in September - the BBC upheld six of the 17 complaints Amanda made and apologised publicly to her.
Elsewhere, the 2024 series featured opera singer and Go.Compare star Wynne Evans.
Wynne, 53, was sacked from the Strictly tour earlier this year amid accusations he used inappropriate language to pro dancer Janette Manrara.
Katya swatted him away and they later laughed it off.
He has since reportedly been axed from his lucrative GoCompare advert deal.

In the latest batch of nominations, Strictly is up for the Memorable Moment Award - which is decided by public vote.
The nod recognises winners Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell's emotional Waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone.
Fans have previously seen Strictly take home gongs in 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2024.
Meanwhile, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice won Virgin TV's Must-See Moment in 2022 for their Couple's Choice routine.
