Dianne Buswell revealed she was "so proud" in a heart-warming announcement about her recent appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell took to Instagram with glee as she informed her 1.1 million followers of a major nomination. The 35-year-old revealed that she and her former Strictly partner Chris McCausland received a special nod for the highly coveted BAFTA.
In the moving post, Dianne penned: “I am so proud of us @chrismccauslandcomedy we are nominated for a BAFTA for our beautiful waltz to You Will Never Walk Alone. It’s the only BAFTA award that the winner is decided by you guys so if you enjoyed this moment as much as we did go ahead and give us a vote. The voting opens at 8am today and finishes April 25th. I’ll leave the link in my bio.” The Australian dancer added: “This dance was so special to both of us hence why we chose this dance as our final dance to enjoy together on the night of the Strictly final!
“The emotion felt in every step was so so real and we are just so honoured to be nominated @bbcstrictly.”
The dancer was inundated with praise from viewers who were brought to tears by the winning performance.
