Paige DeSorbo, one of the breakout stars of Bravo’s hit reality series Summer House (and Winter House...and kinda sorta Southern Charm),has been a fixture in the world of reality TV since her debut in 2019.
But beyond the screen, the journalist-turned-Bravolebrity-turned-icon has capitalized on her fame through a buncha business ventures, partnerships, a hugely successful podcast, and now a book! Obvi, all of these opportunities have paved the way for Paige to earn *a ton* of real-world $$$. Exactly how much though? Let’s get into it! Starting with the fact that...
She’s a star on Summer House
Paige forever changed our lives when she joined the reality series for its third season and provided levity, *chef’s kiss* fashion, and truly hilarious confessionals to the popular show. Despite Summer House initially simply chronicling the lives of a group of friends heading out East as soon as the temps get hot, nowadays, the cast members are legit Bravolebrities in their own right. And being a Famous TV Person™️ definitely has its fair share of perks (read: $$$$).
As for exactly how much the cast gets paid, look no further than to Kyle Cooke, who’s been on the series since day one, to explain the payment structure since he’s the one who helped create it!
During a July 2022 appearance on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast, Kyle explained that the math is pretty simple: You get paid more the longer you’re on the show. Ahem: “If you join season 3 or season 6, you’re making what we all made in our first season.”
Not only does this payment structure make the most sense, but as the Loverboy founder added, it also ensures there’s no “fourth wall drama” due to some people raking in more simply because they’re “more famous.”
And to provide more financial ~context~, Life & Style previously reported that the range in real-world dollars is somewhere around $10,000 to $20,000 per episode (aka between $170,000 to $340,000 for a 17-episode season).
TL;DR: This is probs Paige’s mood once she logs into her bank account:
Oh, and she doesn’t need to break the bank to be in a Hamptons home
Another perk of being on a show like Summer House, you ask (aside from the brand deals, getting to be in the Hamptons for the summer, and a hugely massive paycheck, obvs)? The fact that you don’t actually have to chip in for the home the show is filmed in.
Yep, back in 2017, Summer House alum Stephen McGee revealed that the cast doesn’t pay rent for the share house. “We do not pay rent on the house,” he dished during an appearance on the Reality Life podcast (via Reality Tea). “We do have financial risks in the show. We do not have everything paid for. I do not do a share that would have cost me $20,000 every summer.”
“With the show and all the obligations that come producing a show, we needed to have a bigger house. Even though the house is big and you see all of our rooms, there’s rooms that were used for storage, production, and cameras. We weren’t paying extra for those spaces to give them room to produce the show,” he added.
Good! To! Know!!!!
Plus, she def rakes in for appearing in other shows in the Bravoverse
Not only is Paige an iconic Summer House star, but she’s also been a fixture on a buncha other Bravo shows, including Winter House (which she appeared on for the first two seasons in 2021 and 2022) and Southern Charm (where she’s appeared in a guest capacity since the eighth season premiered on June 2022).
Honestly, it’s giving “That’s So Suite Life of Hannah Montana” because of the crossover of it all, and we’re not mad about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And yes, in case you were wondering, all of that screen time does in fact = major $$$$.
She’s a huuuuuge influencer
As is the case with many reality stars, Paige’s fame led to her working with countless brands and scoring major deals with them. That! Said!!! Even prior to blowing up on Summer House, she was already working in journalism and had a blog, so the road to influencer-dom was kiiiiind of a natural career segue for her.
During a June 2019 interview with Authority Magazine, Paige explained that when she was young, she used to love modeling and performing, which ultimately led her to pursue broadcast journalism. “In college, I decided to major in broadcast journalism because I still loved the camera,” she began before adding, “I decided that entertainment news was what I really loved. After graduation, I moved to NYC to work for ABC News. At the same time as my full-time position at ABC, I started to freelance write fashion articles for Betches Media Company.”
Over the years, the reality star has worked with everyone from Nike Women to Good American, Poppi, Malibu, and Rent the Runway, which has only allowed her to level up her $$$$.
Oh, and she’s also used her huuuuge popularity to form a relationship with Amazon Live and now has a platform where she gives styling advice to viewers.
More recently, the reality star announced a new show on the platform called In Bed With Paige DeSorbo. Check out the preview below!
When discussing the project with Us Weekly, Paige dished that viewers can expect dishy convos and recommended product picks from Amazon.
“I’ve always wanted some type of show like this where it’s just fun and it’s girlie and it feels very much like me,” she said during a convo with the outlet. “It’s so exciting. And for it to be on Amazon where I already do Amazon Live, I do all of the looks for less for the girls. It just made sense. And I do love sleeping.”
Obsessed!!!
She has a podcast
Paige and Summer House alum Hannah Berner host the hugely popular Giggly Squad podcast, which currently has over 44 million downloads to date since they launched the project in 2020. And luckily for their fans, this year, the duo is set to embark on a 25-city, 28-venue live show tour dubbed “Giggly Squad Live: Club Giggly.” The slate of shows will kick off in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 6, and, yes, presale tickets are available right TF now!!!!
“Hannah and I have been best friends for so long now, and it’s just natural that when you get with your best friend, you’re a different version of yourself. You’re lighter, you’re funnier, you’re sillier. When we started the podcast, we really just took our FaceTime calls and were like ‘Well, I guess we could record this,’” the reality star exclusively dished to Cosmopolitan back in April.
“The best part about Giggly Squad is that the world is so crazy all the time, and we genuinely are talking about nothing. It’s a total one-hour escape. When you’re laughing, you feel happier—it’s science, you’re in a better headspace.” Legit couldn’t have said it any better myself. 🤧💕
And not only do the BFFs sell their own merch and work with brand sponsors of the show, but...
Paige and Hannah just came out with a book!!!
Yep, and according to the Summer House star, it’s “not a bit,” lol. Paige announced the exciting news via Instagram on June 27 alongside the caption, “‘How to Giggle’ is available for preorder now at the link in our bio! This book is our guide to taking life less seriously and is probably the most admin we will ever do.”
So, what’s Paige's total net worth?!?!
Oh, that would be a not-at-all-casual-not-even-a-little-bit amount of $400,000, according to Celebrity Net Worth. However, reports from Life & Style and Distractify estimate that the total amount is actually over $1 million, which totally makes sense considering how much Paige is up to. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some audition tapes for Bravo I need to record. 😭
