Super Bowl Champion Reveals Bills’ Josh Allen ‘Fits’ Ranking

Justin Reid says Josh Allen gives him more fits than any other quarterback.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has given his fair share of NFL opponents trouble throughout the years, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Allen is coming off of his first NFL MVP award and an AFC Championship appearance.

Allen has made numerous highlight-worthy plays in his career, and one of Allen's most iconic plays still haunts the man who was on the receiving end.

New Orleans Saints safety and two-time Super Bowl champion Justin Reid made an appearance on NFL Network's 'Good Morning Football' this past week. Reid was asked, out of all the superstar quarterbacks in the league, from Joe Burrow to Lamar Jackson, which quarterback gave him the most fits.

With a wide range of options to choose from, one name popped to mind for Reid, largely due to Allen's patented hurdle that he took over Reid in a 2022 regular season matchup while Reid was on the Kansas City Chiefs.

"Unfortunately, only one of those guys has hurdled me." Reid said.

"Josh Allen. He's such a talented dude. I mean he's the size of a defensive end and he has the arm talent to make all the throws. He's a special playmaker when his team needs him most. He just takes over a game when he needs to."

Reid can look back a little more fondly on the moment in hindsight, as the Chiefs have eliminated the Bills in each of the last two postseasons, despite Buffalo's regular season success against the Chiefs. Reid also took down Allen and the Bills in overtime during Allen's first career playoff game when Reid was a member of the Houston Texans.

Despite going from Kansas City to New Orleans this offseason, Reid won't be without his annual Allen matchup, as the Saints will be taking a trip up to Buffalo to take on the Bills in 2025.

Reid is entering into his eighth NFL campaign in 2025, and despite 10 career interceptions, he hasn't picked off Allen. He also hasn't gotten a quarterback hit or a sack against him. He'll get the opportunity to do some in the upcoming NFL season.
