'Super Bowl hits different': Reggie Wayne apologizes for not giving Colts fans more Super Bowl wins

Reggie Wayne provided Indianapolis Colts fans a lot of great memories in his 14 seasons on the field.

He wishes there could have been more.

The 46-year-old Colts wide receivers coach posted on social media as Super Bowl 59 started: "I'm not gonna lie. As y'all already know. That Superbowl hits different. I wish I could've helped colts fans get more. #ImSorry"

Wayne won Super Bowl XLI with the Colts and participated in another. His 53-yard first-quarter touchdown got the Colts rolling on their way to a 29-17 win over the Chicago Bears.

An infamous missed connection between Wayne and Peyton Manning resulted in a New Orleans Saints pick-six in Super Bowl XLIV, which the Colts lost 31-17.
